The apothecary's cabinet, my great pride

Here are 100% natural, pure, active formulas, composed of medicinal plant extracts, submitted to Health Canada and then approved by the institution allowing therapeutic claims.

The pandemic will have precipitated me into the development of these latter, wishing strongly that everyone can surround themselves with them and have at their fingertips wonderful benevolent and effective mixtures to relieve us, and the whole family, from seasonal ailments, everyday ailments and even skin discomforts that can afflict us for too long.

The first formula to arrive was obviously L'Antiseptique (we have 5 different approvals), an antibacterial & antiseptic cleaner, effective in destroying harmful microbes and bacteria, very practical (I spray it everywhere: hands, steering wheel, phone & other objects to be disinfected) composed of alcohol as required but also a purifying aromatic heart and a natural softening ingredient.

Then the Soothing Formula – 80094787: to relieve minor skin aches and irritations; a magical essential to have on hand, when a family member gets a cut, a bite, a burn, a bruise, itching, a sudden outbreak; I have also been using it for a very long time for redness on the skin, one drop under the serum; and we have received a lot of testimonies of acne scars disappearing with it;

I like to combine the soothing formula with Bobôme - 80106560 (designed by Nathalie 16 years ago, to apply to my baby Louis's little boo-boos), a real balm that calms irritations, relieves inflammation & helps wounds heal thanks to the beautiful properties of its quality ingredients: shea butter, calendula CO2, lavender, German chamomile, peppermint & geranium.

So, we use a drop of our blue formula (The Soothing One) followed by the little balm whose essential oils on both sides take care of instantly relieving then quickly repairing the aches and pains of children and adults. Isn't it a gift to have them on hand if a problem arises knowing that we can certainly count on "their magical powers" thus perceived by our children and grandchildren already comforted by seeing them?

Breathe Well Spray 30 ml – 80103169 & 80103170: therapeutic fragrance spray to soothe & relieve cold and cough symptoms; a product that everyone should have, it is wonderfully decongestant & oxygenating; I have a bottle in each bedroom, and I spray a benevolent cloud at bedtime, especially if my little one or I are congested or have difficulty breathing. This gently, as if it were depositing a wonderful balm in our respiratory walls, allows us to breathe freely while calming down, plunged into a deep sleep, traveling to the top of an oxygenating mountain, surrounded by protective and comforting nature. I also have a bottle in my car for long journeys or at night. And I like to spray it (1 spray only) in my mask to create an almost pleasant experience.

Breathe Well inhalation 10 ml – 80102378: its pure version which completely spared me from the symptoms of seasonal allergies (no itchy eyes or sore throat and no congestion; simply by placing a drop at the door of the nostrils); or we can, like mom does to breathe well at night, breathe it straight from the bottle, or place a drop on a handkerchief or even in our mask.

Medicated Vapor Massage Oil – 80103138: what an eloquent and revealing name, isn't it? This formula follows the same aromatic heart of Breathe Well and is suitable for children from the age of 2, you can tell how touched my heart is (rare are the aromatic formulas that we can offer to toddlers). This oil allows us to massage them with a naturally medicated heat that is as gentle as it is powerful to soothe them and relieve them from the aches and symptoms of colds and coughs. Young and old alike appreciate it. This is what we want when weakness and chills take hold of us: oil massaged into the soles of the feet and/or along the spine.

followed by the Breathe Well Balm – 80103171 applied to the solar plexus and throat, surrounded by a soothing, caring, warm, spicy room fragrance ( Protector ) or calming & spa ( Breathe Well ) . I thus recreate my scenes of a comforted child. We massage, wrap and surround by spraying with a soothing veil.

Respiratory formula – 80095323: therapeutic fragrance also to spray around you to relieve symptoms of colds and coughs, but this time, which is not suitable for children (or people with asthma) because of its more "aggressive" version, so to be used when congestion is present for example, or to sanitize the bathroom.

I also really appreciate the apothecary perfume Le Protégé for purifying the atmosphere, by spraying it both in the bathroom and in the entrance if someone with the flu has passed by and/or on the door handle after a delivery, which leaves a spicy veil of cinnamon & clove reminiscent of evenings of yesteryear; its pure formula Cold & Flu Solution – 80100495; I wouldn't live without it, to be honest, I also consume it directly internally and offer it to you in the edible honey Le Protégé .

Eczema formula – 80096912 & 80104530 (and the pure version – 80103109): to relieve eczema and dermatitis; what emotion, to tears, when with our chemist on the phone and next to me Nathalie, in her very first summer with us, in my "walk-in" safe of essential oils of the highest quality (as soon as we are next to each other breathing them, emotions overwhelm us and our heart opens infinitely; I also received the sought-after vegetable oils kukui & tamanu, both known for their beautiful effect on patches) when Nathalie formulated this balm, under the recommendations of our chemist, and its perfect caring notes immediately capsized me knowing how it would calm and repair eczema irritations.

Soothing and Protective Balm – 80104780: I remember mentioning to our chemist that we needed to adapt our formulas to allow approval to also soothe children because too many parents ask us for them. For children from 6 months and older.

Dermopur acne - 80096927: since 2014 we have been seeing and receiving testimonials of completely changed, healthy acne skin, with no trace of what it was before, treated 100% naturally with our pure, active and so effective formulas; I couldn't talk about it before receiving the claim allowing it; thus, we will be able to continue to bring about the change so desired by people who suffer from acne; the dermopur formula (women have appreciated it for a long time and I now hear young men recommending it to their guy friends! happiness) is applied locally to pimples (when present or when it hurts or when you feel them coming), boils too. You can thus tap directly on the pimple several times a day to be surprised not to see them appear or to see them disappear quickly. So it's always good to have a Dermopur formula on hand because at all ages, depending on the dish eaten or the stress experienced, a pimple can appear!

Sebum Gel – 80096913; our gel for acne and oily skin; here is the beauty ritual suggested if you have spots:

Depending on your skin type, you will definitely need cleansing oil, neroli floral water (or rosemary for men), dermopur, sebum gel if your skin is oily. And for a quick improvement, Exfopur

and honey mask ;

for the back you can add the Frutti tutti .

Basic ritual, morning and evening: cleanse with cleansing oil, rinse, spray with neroli water (neroli is known for its antiseptic profile) then:

-If you have dry skin, apply the cleansing oil as a serum (which can also be mixed with the radiance boosting gel)

-If you have oily skin, apply sebum gel (which dehydrates spots and purifies the skin; do not use if you have reactive and dehydrated skin)

-If necessary, apply the dermopur formula locally to the spots.

In the end (for now): my triptych that I call Defense. A French aromatherapist pharmacist that I like to read suggested these 3 formulas to tone the immune system if we feel it is under attack; so I submitted it here to “our” pharmacist with whom I also submit formulas to Health Canada; many months later, we are receiving one by one the approvals to relieve symptoms of colds and coughs. I like, as with the range of 4 Breathe Well formulas (which can be sprayed, used in massage, as a balm or inhaled), the 3 formulas developed around Cold & Flu Solution (which can be sprayed with the Protector, applied to the skin or eaten) that we can also benefit with the Defense range from the benefits of aromatherapy both at the ambient level, at the topical level via the cutaneous system and at the respiratory level because one and the other complement each other and multiply the expected effect, the desired benefits.

Defense Topic – 80103255: is a pure aromatic formula to be applied to the soles of the feet, at bedtime for example, when you feel a cold or cough symptom coming on.

Defense Around You – 8013295: is the formula to diffuse or, you can apply a drop on a handkerchief to breathe or in the mask to create a funny interesting environment.

Inhalation Defense – 80104490 & 80104905: This is where the story got complicated ; this same French pharmacist offered a formula to spray in the nose that Sylvain and I immediately tried, what a fantastic feeling! Excited, I immediately ordered the amber glass bottles - essential oils oblige - & nasal (not easy) then began our long work of submission for claims (for many months, with chemists and pharmacist, I worked tirelessly for all these formulas as much for the paperwork to gather as for the collection of natural medical ingredients of the highest quality & purity as for their pretty containers & long labels to check . Then I learn at the very end of the process that here in Canada, we cannot spray essential oils in the nose! That only breathing them is allowed. So here I am with Nasya on one side (my beautiful nasal bottle containing sesame oil only because a vegetable oil can be sprayed in the nose to moisturize, recalling the Ayurvedic ritual of nasal bathing to keep the walls clean and healthy) and this Inhalation formula to breathe into a tissue (mask)/handkerchief on the other.
