Mindset to integrate sustainable change according to neuroscience

Mindset pour intégrer un changement durable selon les neurosciences

Jacynthe offers us a magnificent challenge to gently accompany us through this change of season.

Everything is there for well-being and happiness!

It's here for all the details.

Mindset to approach a challenge & integrate lasting change with kindness and pride

The important thing about a challenge is that it's achievable. As Jacynthe tells us, you don't have to do everything; "you can choose from the proposed themes that interest you."

If something speaks to you, it's probably what you need right now.

You could also vary each week by choosing the day(s) whose topic interests you. This would allow you to touch on different themes.

The important thing to remember is not to overload yourself, because if you don't manage to do everything you wanted to do, you're likely to be disappointed. That's precisely what you don't want!

Jacynthe invites us to take the 35-Day Challenge precisely to brighten up our days, which deserve to be lived well. Go read the 5 "Whys" to take up this challenge that Jacynthe wrote for us. It's very inspiring. Personally, I even printed this page to keep it in view.

These 35 days aim to create one or more new habits that we want to integrate into our lives and that will be beneficial for us.

Allow yourself a change to start a new season well and bring us into the well-being of the next season, gently... allow yourself to have more positivity, more energy, more beauty depending on what you choose to integrate.

As I study Neuroscience coaching, I share with you my little tips that can help us when we want to make changes, because human beings are "beings of habit" who like to stay in the comfort of known habits!

The brain likes to stick to habits, because science has shown that our reptilian brain is there to protect our survival. It's not there to change our habits, because that requires a distraction, an expenditure of energy that takes us out of protection mode.

At the beginning of a challenge, we get excited, and it's easy to get carried away. As we move forward, we either forget, our motivation wanes, or we get discouraged. It's therefore important to:

  • Don't want to do everything if you feel it's too much for you, whether it's due to a lack of time or energy... So, it's better to do less at once and "succeed" in what you want to do, than to do too much and give up.
  • Allow yourself to make a change that you don't usually dare to, which will increase your pride.
  • With this in mind, determine one habit to incorporate per change (e.g. body, makeup or masks) and not too much at once, unless you are used to running on challenges.
  • Determine OUR why we want to make this change, not that of others.
  • Determine your intention, that is, what you want this new habit to bring you. For example: having more energy, healthier skin, makeup that makes you feel beautiful, putting more joy into your life (joy can be linked to essential oils, eating well, etc.), feeling better in your body, finding yourself beautiful, connecting with nature (essential oil, Ayurveda, etc.). This is personal to you, and above all, don't feel guilty about wanting to take care of yourself and feel beautiful. It's even desirable!
  • Determine our limiting belief and a positive belief to reverse it. For example, the limiting belief could be: "I am not capable" or "Every time I undertake a challenge, I cannot complete it." For the positive belief, it could be: "I have everything I need to succeed and I am progressing every day," "I am progressing every day towards my XYZ goal and I am proud of myself," etc. Nathalie said: "You will love yourself" after this challenge that allows you to take care of yourself. This positive belief will become YOUR mantra, which I invite you to repeat to yourself several times a day. This will aim to stimulate your brain in this positive direction, because the brain learns through repetition and intensity.
  • Embark on the process of change without wanting to know everything from the start, but “trust the process.” Your body will let you feel the benefits for you.
  • We must celebrate ourselves, and especially celebrate the steps of the process, not just the end goal. Because every action, every small step, is a change in itself and a step in the right direction! In Challenge 35, you could celebrate yourself every week for everything you have accomplished in the past week.
  • Give yourself kindness, allow yourself imperfection, and above all, commit to yourself. You deserve it, and you are the most important person. We start by doing things for ourselves, and that's what will shine through to others. It's not selfish, on the contrary! If you don't take care of your well-being, you won't be able to take care of those you love to your full potential.
  • Taking advantage of the energy and strength of the group that will do this “35 Day Challenge” will be all the more inspiring and motivating for everyone.

I am convinced that the energy of change and wanting to brighten our days will add brightness to the days which are diminishing in light until the end of December.

I wish us all a wonderful challenge for this change of season, with all the radiance that it will bring us. ♥
