How to remove toxic heavy metals
It will be surprising at first to realize that we live with multitudes, that we house just as many of them and that they tend to remain within us.
Dr. Willem writes a book on the subject, the first to be surprised to "contain" a host of undesirables with certainly damaging repercussions.¹
How do we ingest metals, you might ask? Through food (certain pesticides), unnatural cosmetics, household products, certain coatings, certain protections, polluted air, certain fish (think of mercury), etc. It's terrible what we're doing to our planet and our health with all this!
What impact can these metals have when they coexist in our metabolism?
Neurotoxic impact (aluminum, mercury, lead).
Digestive and fertility disorders (arsenic).
Respiratory (chromium, nickel).
Irritations and pains, dizziness and nausea (copper).
The infrared sauna seems to me to be such a pleasant way to eliminate them² and also to benefit from effects on the skin, stress, relaxation, anti-aging.
Certain foods support the general elimination of daily intoxicants: psyllium fibers (as in our Essential Fibers), Miso³, Spirulina 4 and Chlorella 5 (as in the Complete).
Fiber 6 and probiotics 7 can also help eliminate arsenic.
Now, know that some of your supplements - to appreciate them more - can play an important role, for example:
Silica is associated with aluminum detox (found in some kitchen utensils, deodorants, baking powder, etc.) 8
Melatonin 9 : aluminum, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, mercury, nickel, lead
B12: arsenic 10
Selenium: arsenic, cadmium, mercury 11 , lead
Heavy metals and health risks (according to the Association Santé Environnement France) 12
Antimony: Irritant to skin, mucous membranes, and the digestive system if ingested.
Arsenic: carcinogenic, endocrine disruptor.
Cadmium: very toxic, bone disorders, carcinogenic.
Chromium: cancers, gastrointestinal disorders, hematological disorders.
Copper: hepatotoxic and nephrotoxic, irritant, reprotoxic.
Lead: lead poisoning, lower IQ, anemia, behavioral problems, kidney problems, hearing loss.
Mercury: toxic to the respiratory tract, kidneys and brain, toxic to the fetus.
Nickel: highly allergenic, some compounds carcinogenic.
Selenium: nausea, diarrhea, brittle nails, hair loss, asthenia.
Tellurium: irritant, digestive disorders, drowsiness, headaches, liver and central nervous system damage.
Thallium: neurotoxic.
