Answers to questions about the naturalness of our products

Réponses aux questions sur la naturalité de nos produits

Sylvain received a question about the naturalness of certain ingredients in our natural health products. Here's a clear answer to help you understand our formulation choices.

“Natural” Does Not Mean “Raw”

Natural does not mean picked and eaten as is.

The vast majority of effective active ingredients in phytotherapy must be extracted, concentrated, and purified to be useful to the body.

Otherwise, you would have to eat kilograms of plants to get the same effect.

A laboratory is not the opposite of nature:

it is the tool that allows us to extract the useful active part, without the useless or irritating fibers.

Exactly like:

  • orange juice (extracted)
  • olive oil (extracted)
  • essential oils (distillation)

Why standardized extracts (10:1, 4:1)?

When you see:

  • Milk Thistle 10:1
  • Turmeric 4:1
  • Dandelion 10:1

it means more precision, less burden.

Simple example:

150 mg of a 10:1 extract = 1,500 mg of plant, but without forcing digestion or the liver.

So, less volume, more effectiveness, less unnecessary work for the body.

"The liver has to work harder" is actually the opposite and a common myth.

The liver works harder when it lacks support, not when it receives it.

In our Detox formula:

  • Milk Thistle → protects liver cells
  • Boldo & dandelion → support bile flow
  • Turmeric → anti-inflammatory liver support
  • Broccoli (sulforaphanes) → aids detoxification enzymes (phase II)

We support natural mechanisms, we don't overload them.

What about “non-plant” ingredients?

-N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is identical to the molecule used by the body. The body does not recognize the origin; it recognizes the molecular structure.

NAC is a direct precursor of glutathione, the liver's main antioxidant.

It is one of the most widely used active ingredients to support the liver.

  • TUDCA (tauroursodeoxycholic acid) is a purified and controlled molecule, used precisely to support bile and protect liver cells.

Again: the purified version is gentler than unpredictable raw sources.

  • Glutathione (from Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a naturally fermented source in a bioavailable form AND directly involved in detoxification.
  • As for non-medicinal ingredients (for the capsule): hypromellose, cellulose, magnesium stearate, stearic acid.

These are standard excipients, used for:

  • stability
  • safety
  • adequate release

Firstly, they are present in minuscule amounts.

Secondly, they do not overload the liver.

And, without them, there would be no reliable or safe capsule.

In summary, the liver does not suffer from good supplements.

It suffers when it lacks support.

Our formulas use nature in its most intelligent form:

extracted, purified, dosed — to help the body, not overload it.

Our priority has always been the same: to support the body accurately, intelligently, and with care.

Thank you for always asking your questions: you help me present who we are and address concerns that others might have. There are so many myths & misunderstandings.

Good evening
