Cuckoo!

Today is the launch of the book Our Houses, Our Heritage during a 4 to 7 on the terrace of MJ St-Bruno, under the marquee.

• Chef Michel will prepare unique vegan tapas.
• Jonathan will be holding a Lemonade & Snacks Kiosk and will take the opportunity to give away gifts (the new roll-on flavor he has created for Pina Colada: Pineapple & Coconut) to subscribers to his YouTube channel .

You are all invited!

I can't wait to show it to you, it's full of stories and emotions (throughout the 573 photos!)

For the occasion, you can find it online here and then in bookstores, starting in September.

As for the daily special, the Wash Formula is in the spotlight for the day (on special at $16.80 instead of $21).*

This formula, composed primarily of lavender and lemon, naturally scents clothing, sheets, and fabrics. In addition to its delicate aroma, these essential oils have wonderful properties for laundry.

“I am French and have been living in Luxembourg for many years, following Jacynthe for years.

I must admit that I have many formulas that I sincerely love, which have allowed me to anchor it in beautiful rituals that make me feel good and that allow me to surround myself with essential oils and do myself good.

If you allow me to list a few:

• The washing formula , I put it everywhere, in my vacuum cleaner filter, in my diffuser, in my laundry, I love it deeply, it does me good;

“I wanted to talk about matcha. I've tried several and this is the first one I've enjoyed drinking. It's really delicious! I've even cut down on my coffee consumption.” - Marie-Pier

I present it to you here.

This is the first time this Matcha has come out of Japan. Everyone knows how beneficial it is to drink Matcha regularly. You still have to like it! I imagine I'm not the only one who has tried to like it only to be put off by the bitter taste, the oxidized color and all the artificialities added to disguise them. When I met the family from Japan in question, I was captivated, couldn't believe the taste as it was and was so eager to introduce it to you. This authentic Japanese Matcha prepared in batches of only 5 at a time allows for this freshness. Okay, some will use the shaker or the electric whisk! And that's okay! It does it as they say!

Following the few steps still has its charm and allows us to appreciate, to settle down:

1. Pour 1 teaspoon of matcha (about 2 g) into a bowl using a chashaku (bamboo spoon).
2. Add 75 ml of hot water (between 70 and 80°C).
3. Hold the chasen (bamboo whisk) with two fingers and mix the matcha by moving your forearm. Foam and bubbles will form.
4. Crush any bubbles on the surface by mixing more slowly.
5. Form a Z on the foam and lift your whisk in a vertical motion.
6. Take the time to enjoy your matcha in a cup or bowl specially designed for it.
