Touching competition

Touchant concours

Touching competition (I think ).

Between us.

To film our Advent Calendar and take the beautiful festive photos, the sisters of Ernest's Attic came to decorate the furniture and windows with me, as it has been so magical to do for 10 Christmases now.

Eve, a designer, suggested a recycled linen table that was as simple as it was chic. We filmed a video to share some great ideas for the times.

I would like to offer this table decoration, salad & red juice to a bereaved family or a group of seniors, for example, to warm them and fill their hearts.

Can you help me? By naming who could receive this gift and why?

The winner will be announced on the last Thursday of November. In fact, the person who will have the pleasure of collecting from their Maison Jacynthe (we will deliver the gifts there) juice, salad in bulk (for 8 people) and equipment (linen tablecloth, gold napkins, large & small plates - I will offer 4 candlesticks from my decor other than those on the table and cups from our bistro since those in the photos are still used for our next recipe book).

And among those who don't win: we'll offer 25 extra salads in bulk, so you'll have something to enhance your meals.

You can comment now here on Facebook and here on Instagram .

We will choose from the comments.

Hoping that this gesture creates a beautiful memory.

Here is the concept of this beautiful table by designer Eve Champagne.

The tablecloth is made of 100% natural, undyed cotton and sold by the yard. She only needed to purchase a yard and a half of fabric (110 inches wide) to completely cover the table. No sewing required; simply tear the fabric and fray a few strands over a few rows.

Another shared tip is to take fabric, like linen, and cover the sofas with it. Afterwards, you just have to clean the linen. It looks very chic!

For the napkins, with a single yard of linen, she made a line every 16 inches and tore the linen. These napkins are reusable.

The dishes and glasses were found at Renaissance, and all in mismatched style.

The mismatched brass candlesticks are from Mama Coco Vintage.

Everything is natural, recycled and chic but with a choice of quality candles; these Danish candles are made from 100% vegetable paraffin.

Pinecones on branches and potted lavender plants complete the decor.

What a beautiful, chic, recycled table!

Eve likes the clean style and then composts her Christmas decorations.

For example, she takes big jute ropes and she hangs these LED light strips attached by little strings, and in December, she attaches real branches to them and in the very center she will hang a bell which is made of birdseed.

In January, when she has had enough of her decorations, she removes the branches which she will throw into the forest behind her house and she will roll up her rope and store it in its box.
