Urea emulsion to combat calluses

Calluses form where the feet rub against shoes while walking. These phenomena produce hyperkeratosis by stimulating the production of keratin (a protein that makes up the epidermis). This results in a thickening of the calluses on the feet.

Unlike other parts of the body, the feet do not have pilosebaceous glands and are not protected from dehydration by sebum. Therefore, the skin constantly produces keratin, which builds up in a thick layer under the feet, protecting against shocks while walking.

Hydration and nutrition of the feet are essential beauty treatments for soft skin.

Our Callus Emulsion stands out for its richness in nourishing and restorative active ingredients. It soothes the skin, naturally, in the blink of an eye.

  • Urea is an active ingredient used to treat calluses and improve skin health.

It helps moisturize even the driest skin. It binds water in the surface layers of the skin, making it soft and supple. At a concentration of about 10% in a cream, urea becomes a gentle exfoliant (keratolytic). It dissolves dead epidermal cells, helping to remove hard skin from calluses.

  • Castor oil is very rich in fat. It quickly moisturizes and nourishes deeply to restore soft feet.
  • Shea butter has effective properties to soothe discomfort in the skin of the feet.
  • Mango butter provides protection against dehydration.
  • Soybean oil strengthens natural defenses against dehydration.
  • Essential oils of true lavender, eucalyptus radiata, German chamomile and vanillin to relieve plantar pain.

Foot care protocol

Soak your feet regularly:

  • Soak your feet in warm water to soften dry, dead skin.
  • Use warm water (not too hot) to avoid drying out the skin.
  • Remove calluses with a pumice stone or a special foot file.
  • Then, apply a layer of our Callus Emulsion to keep skin soft and supple evenly, and feel the cooling effect immediately.
