Argan oil, a true treasure, is produced from the kernel of the argan tree, nicknamed by Moroccans "Liquid Gold of the Desert or Tree of a Thousand Virtues." It is known for its various pharmacological properties and has been used as a natural remedy and in traditional cuisine for several centuries.
Argan oil (rich in antioxidant compounds and unsaturated fats) is composed of 99% triglycerides – 45% oleic acid and 34% linoleic acid, while the remaining 1% contains highly active biological compounds such as vitamin E, carotenoids, sterols and polyphenols.
The one we offer is made from carefully selected argan kernels, picked by hand, yes, always in the traditional way: each argan nut is then crushed by hand to release the kernel. We have managed to mechanize the pressing and extraction of the oil, but not the crushing! And it takes 32 kg of argan kernels to extract one liter of argan oil... a long process to offer us an oil of exceptional, rare and precious quality! This oil comes from the Ajddigue cooperative, created in 1997 in the rural commune of Tidzi in the province of Essaouira in Morocco, whose main objective is to help and improve the income of its 17 women members in order to produce, promote and market argan oil products.

A new study has shown that older adults who ate an unhealthy diet and took daily cocoa extract supplements containing 500 mg/day of cocoa flavanols experienced cognitive benefits. 1 Note that these cognitive benefits were not observed in participants who already had healthy eating habits.
Another study showed that cocoa flavanols improve the vascular response to acute mental stress in healthy young adults. Thirty healthy men consumed a cocoa flavanol drink one and a half hours before a stressful task and found that the flavanols were effective in counteracting mental stress-induced endothelial dysfunction and improving peripheral blood flow during stress. 2
