Here's how my detox is going, which, I repeat, is not a diet and far from counting calories. The goal isn't to lose weight either, but rather to achieve the wonderful feeling of being comfortable in our bodies to make everything easier, to accomplish and to shine.
1-On an empty stomach: lemon juice (tonic or homemade) then essential fibers
2-Shake (smoothie or, Complete + Collagen + MCT oil, or Protein + MCT oil) if you are hungry, eat!
3-Gourmet salad (10-12-14 sprouts/vegetables/herbs/varied with avocado, seeds, nuts and whatever you want!) to start lunch and dinner
4-The Friend at bedtime, if needed.
No more rocket science! Let me explain:
1- I start my day with a shot of yellow juice (lemon, turmeric and ginger roots, pineapple), because lemon:
*The fibers contained in essential fibers can also have a nice effect on cellulite, the reduction of premenstrual symptoms, an impact on cholesterol and ingested sugars!
- Dissolves fats - Facilitates digestion, cleanses the body and accelerates the elimination of toxins by stimulating the production of bile (according to Florence Foucaut, member of the French Association of Dieticians and Nutritionists)
- Drains the kidneys
- Strengthens the immune system (excellent antiseptic, antibiotic and antiviral according to Thomas Kassab, pharmacist)
- Alkalizing, rich in antioxidants and vitamin C
- Its flavonoids have anti-inflammatory properties (Passeportsanté).
- Its vitamins give the skin a super boost of radiance. Quite a kick!
2- Shakes!
- The Complete (our greens with spirulina, sunflower sprouts, etc.) is approved by Health Canada as a source of antioxidants - I combine it with collagen and MCT, it's great as a youth drink, sugar-free. The monk fruit that gives the sweet taste has no effect on insulin. Whether I'm at the gym or not, before my lunch, I take Collagen Citrus and Complete in water. Wow! My joints and skin were craving this fabulous collagen and this amazing spirulina as much for weight loss as for the muscle mass it sees benefit.
3- We start our lunch and dinner meals with a gourmet salad (8 to 14 shoots and vegetables), garnished with seeds, nuts, herbs, spices, avocado... I often stick to this salad, my boyfriend adds parmesan cheese, organic chicken occasionally, eggs, and in the evening, he can continue with the boys' meal; the idea is to start with this salad (my teenager tells me not to give him too much because he's not hungry anymore... ? that's the point!!). Variety is important to find diversity in amino acids.

Welcome to cheats, again, these habits to add do not represent a diet.
4-At bedtime, only if necessary , I take a capsule of Ami . The cascara sagrada ** included in Ami is not a fiber but rather a bark that acts on the intestinal muscle. 3
Dr. Jensen also mentioned that when increasing fiber in our diet, "In the early stages, you may need to use laxatives to help move the high-fiber supplements." Laxatives can be used wisely in some cases, but it should always be a temporary solution. 2
Please note that fiber in the morning as well as salad to start meals will keep the Friend away, which we will only take again as needed. **Regarding Cascara Sagrada : this bark makes the difference at the beginning of a dietary change: even if we take fiber, the elimination work can be difficult, insufficient. The peristaltic movement activated by Cascara makes the difference. When I started with superfoods, it was the combination of fiber and cascara that helped eliminate bloating, to regain a flat stomach (then, for thousands of people). Today, I can take it 1 to 2 times a month, for example, when I eat less well: it makes the difference! For me, it is a very healthy, natural solution as if we were getting extra help in "muscle" to do extra work. The feeling is wonderful, without inconvenience. The additional movement allows for additional elimination work. Always with this warning to avoid regular use because even Cascara can cause intestinal laziness.

After reading the scientific documentation 4 on this ingredient, I am reassured, it is not a laxative like the others. It is only necessary to keep in mind, once again, that the continuous use is harmful.
