It's been 21 years since I've lived here.
It was while pregnant with Louis that I felt, for the first time, this deep need to find a stone house. When you're expecting a child, your instinct speaks loudly.
One full moon evening, I took the path to Fontarabie and found myself in front of it. My house. It wasn't for sale, I wasn't even working at the time... but I knew, deep down, that this was the place.
