Why supplements?
Supplements are tools to fill gaps. Our modern diet is less rich in phytonutrients, trace elements, minerals, and vitamins. Fruits and vegetables are often picked immature, boosted with fertilizers, or covered in pesticides. They are far removed from nature. In the past, food was picked ripe! It grew in rich soils where crops were rotated to properly nourish the soil. These wonderful, life-supporting conditions are becoming rare.
Our system needs these nutrients to function properly. A single deficiency can lead to inefficient equations in the rest of the metabolic processes. Similarly, when it finds the missing components, it returns to optimal functioning, and we feel a reassuring sense of well-being.
What sets our supplements apart? The excellence of our consultants, who have decades of experience in the field (pharmacist, chemist, developers, lab team), who we give carte blanche to combine the best ingredients in compositions for optimal assimilation, something never before seen.
What to take in terms of supplements?
Here is a guide, for informational purposes only, according to age and needs, also according to Dr Sarah Myhill MB BS, British Doctor, via this article.
No treatment should be undertaken based solely on the content of this article, and the reader is strongly recommended to consult health professionals (pharmacist, doctor, nutritionist; in Quebec, naturopathy is not recognized) for any questions relating to their health and well-being.
Children: in a crunchy version:

Anti-aging
We start to age around 35; so, as Jean-Yves often says, we just need to be smart to support our metabolism and maintain our quality of life, so vitamin D (at 50 units per body weight in kilos), Omega , Silica , B12 , Focus become allies, and we can also rely on melatonin to slow down the aging process.
Be careful, too much is not better but very often the doses used are insufficient.

Aloe juice
“Amazing! Aloe juice, A friend of the intestine and really since I suffer from ulcerative colitis, it was truly remarkable, I was able to withdraw the medication for colitis, so I am so indebted to your aloe juice, I had tried others and without results, since your aloe juice, I take it daily and even my skin is much more beautiful, it is very powerful internally. And I tell you aloe juice is a miracle for all gastrointestinal disorders!” – Marie Michelle B.
Hair loss
MJ Chicoutimi: A client in her sixties told me that about thirty years ago, she lost a large patch of hair on top of her head, and she had to use brown powder to hide the area. She tried many treatments over the course of 30 years, but they all proved useless. She now takes Hair Cocktail, and a little miracle: her hair has grown back! Even her hairdresser asked her what happened after so many years!
Congestion
MJ Saint-Bruno: Mrs. B. told us that Nasya (simple sesame vegetable oil in a nasal spray) changed her life! Being allergic to many things, including eucalyptus, she is always congested...she had been using cortisone and sinus rinses for years. She tried something gentler and more natural like Nasya and to her surprise, she can breathe! Now she has given up the medication and the sinus rinses.
* I asked Jean-Yves if the intake in our current multivitamin is sufficient: 164.8 mcg of retinol = 550 IU of vitamin A. The nutritional intake for women is 700 mcg for women and 900 mcg for men or 2333 IU for women and 3000 IU for men. Since the recommended dose of our multi is 3 caps per day, this is completely correct (550 X 3 = 1650 IU). He mentions: "Furthermore, for all supplement doses, attached are the tables of the RDAs from Health Canada: the RDAs (recommended or reference intakes) represent the amount necessary to prevent a deficiency in 97% of the population... This is far from optimal and very far from therapeutic. For therapeutic purposes, it is very difficult to publish doses because of the very large number of opinions on the subject."
