A new house

We were looking for a place to replace La Prairie, which remains closed (because it's almost right in our house). We were looking for a central location. We told you about it, and then you told us that this institution of the last 41 years, La Rabastalière, was closing, and unfortunately, preserving the building was not on the agenda. The old farmhouse, estimated to be 170 years old, was disappearing. With a knitting that only life could reserve for us, we were able to sign, heart on heart, to preserve it, to cherish it, I might add. No further thought, instead letting passion and love carry us, it only takes a few hours for a comforting path to open up. The transfer from one family to another, in the name of the same values, wishing to welcome you as the Gavinas did without counting the hours. The heart of this house: an impressive kitchen built by Norbert's hands before Marc-Olivier, who is now at his side, was even born. I am comforted at every turn. I understood everything when last night, bringing the gallons of paint, the whole family was waiting for me after a day of having placed everything for us, washed everything for us, with warmth and ardor. Never have we been left a house like this. I hope to spend many more hours listening to their stories lived in these places. To understand every part of it too. A family beyond generosity, a house that only asked to be saved and a beautiful story for us that is only just beginning. Thousands of you have left memories here and we feel privileged to be able to safeguard these walls so that your secrets, pleasures, emotions may never die. We sincerely hope, now, to perhaps create others just as precious. The doors will open again somewhere on August 25th, just so we can enjoy, well distanced, the beautiful days.
