Opening of our new MJ Aylmer... and our other houses!

New address at 53 rue Principale in Aylmer : I present to you your beautiful Maison Jacynthe which will open its doors tomorrow Tuesday. When we found it, there was still no sign of a pandemic. We looked for it for so long. For years, we wanted to be closer to you in Gatineau. Everything came to fruition while we were living in this other era. Now, we will do everything to make you happy according to our traditions and with the greatest respect for your health as well as that of our new employees. We wish you the greatest welcome among us. Obviously there will be no event and we will proceed as for the other houses which will open Tuesday, by pre-orders and in-store pickup. Otherwise, how beautiful is this centenary (1903)? Furnished with these majestic things from yesteryear: general store counters and pharmacy from the beginning of the century. Tell me, do you like it?

Our stores in Eastman, Charlesbourg, Trois-Rivières & Aylmer will therefore open tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19.

The hours will be:

• Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Here are the rules put in place during this pandemic period:

• We have a maximum of 4 people (including our team) present inside at any one time, so we will only welcome one guest at a time in the boutique space. We will be continuously diffusing our ambient sanitizing formulas.

• We will ask you to clean your hands with our antiseptic and answer the 3 questions upon entering. Shopping must be done individually; you cannot be accompanied by a loved one, family (child) or friends.

• As a precaution, you cannot try on, smell, or touch products in the store. Once you have finished shopping, you can pick up the products and place them in a shopping bag.

• We invite you to have your order prepared 48 hours before the collection day either by phone or by email, at the contact details below (not at customer service). We will then be able to make the payment with you and you will only have to pick up your order.

• For the bistro, we do not have bulk ready to take away on site, you must order it by phone or email 48 hours in advance. We only have one cook in the bistro in order to comply with the rules and we must plan the number in advance.

Following hygiene rules, there will be no returns possible during the pandemic period; we will not be able to take back empty bottles either.

MJ Ste-Thérèse & MJ Montréal are expected to open on May 25th, we are following our government's guidelines.

MJ LaPrairie remains closed for the summer.

Obviously, I strongly encourage you to use our online services & to visit our boutique www.maisonjacynthe.ca , available at all times. We have assembled a squad of sublime advisors & beauticians to answer you, from 8am to 10pm, on the Maison Jacynthe Facebook page while you can write to boutique@maisonjacynthe.ca for all questions concerning the reception of your packages.
