As Halloween approaches, it's important to check the ingredients in our children's Halloween makeup products.
According to chemist Yannick Bergeron, parabens, phthalates, phenoxyethanol, petrolatum, and sodium lauryl sulfate can be found in Halloween makeup. These ingredients can act as endocrine disruptors that disrupt growth and hormonal regulation. Since children are still developing and particularly sensitive to toxins, makeup kits can be dangerous.
They can trigger allergies , migraines and even symptoms associated with asthma .
Hence the importance of checking all the ingredients and choosing natural products.
