The beginning of my summer project, my life project: planting the beauty farm. We started with a vineyard of table grapes five years ago, which today produce fresh grape juice, then with freeze-dried pulp: pure, powerful AHAs.
We have a flower garden near Pepito with calendula, chamomile, peonies, rosemary...
The beautiful large vegetable garden, to be expanded.
Small fruits (cherries, blackberries, haskap berries, blackcurrants, etc.).
The orchard, the nut trees & the mini maple grove (a little girl's dream).
Sea buckthorn and wild rose for bees? and beauty oils.
In the fall, we dug sinoues along which: Labrador tea (powerful antioxidant).
Now, starting tomorrow, the earth is ready to receive: hundreds of raspberry bushes (for an excellent after-sun oil, among other things!), black vines, this time, for cellulite treatments.
Lupin for collagen.
Myrique, the sweet-smelling wood, for the essence.
Cordata lime trees ❤️ for bees and as windbreaks.
Then: arnica, poppy (one of my favorites), hyssop, St. John's wort, nigella (with a thousand virtues), evening primrose & borage (do you recognize our serum?), ashwaganda & holy basil.
We'll also have a thousand echinaceas. Marshmallows and irises galore, and verbena too for our aromatherapy scent that you've adopted.
It looks like this.
Hence my happiness.
Especially since we will be planting as a family.
Then, we'll build the old-fashioned barn. It will be a laboratory. In the midst of this happiness. With a distiller, dryers, macerations, and concoctions.
I've been dreaming about it for 12 years, more than that. I was told to forget about it! That it wouldn't happen. As if... ☺️
