The beautiful story of St. Therese

La belle histoire de Ste-Thérèse

On a joyful Monday morning, following the conference given in St-Jérôme, my boyfriend asks me "shall we open a Maison Jacynthe in Ste-Thérèse?" I answer affirmatively straight away since you had shown me your enthusiasm the day before. Two hours later, he found a small ancestral house like I like them. We visit it two days later, making an offer at the same time. Not waiting, that's what I like to propose to you during my conference. Thus opens a path with clues and sometimes what some would call obstacles while for me, this is rather and always the life that leads to abundance. Let me explain. I then announce that we will open on November 24 (I like to emit to define the dream), a date that comes to mind, a happy number or symbol since I realize that it hosted the opening of MJ Québec a year to the day before. Within a few days, the call to assemble a team of rare gems to serve you follows, appointments at the future beauty salon are being booked madly, and the choice of chic recycled furniture. Everything is going well, at the speed of wild dreams. Then boom, the inspection report arrives as we welcome the chosen team, who live up to our ideals, to our home: everything needs to be redone. I like taking care of our old beauties, but this one is almost unsanitary, and the lack of cooperation is pushing us to give up. I stay relaxed and explore the possibilities a few days before the announced opening. Another ancestral home we had seen. This time, the one built for the notary in 1912. My boyfriend calls between two appointments last Saturday with the beauticians who want to board the Ste-Thérèse boat. It's no longer for sale. I'm fired up with passion. I have to speak with the director of the center that owns the house. She's back at the office on Monday. I let her arrive and introduce myself. She knows me, and our company too. She confirms that it is no longer for sale simply because they no longer have anywhere to go. "The house is big, can we cohabit? We'll simply buy when you can!" A follow-up email exchange, then a visit of the premises (you who know me, you are not surprised to know that I sometimes feel without visiting and without the conditions being posted!) during which, it was last Thursday, the offer is closed. A little hesitant in my impulses, I respectfully ask if we can still open on the 24th, dozens of appointments are already made and the date is beautiful in my mind. The atoms of the more than charming director play with ours, her team embarks confidently with the same wind in their sails, you understand? Nothing is complicated when this mission was impossible, she had already confirmed it. Even better: can we start the renovations? We remember that the papers are still not signed and that in the old days, trust reigns: yesterday our contractors stripped the vinyl floors to find the old wood so that the decor and wonderful bottles can enchant you from the 24th. Friday, we announced the house to our new team who came to the house to receive their training (fed with my excellent salad at lunchtime :) !

Nothing is impossible, my friends. We just have to not wait and go for our dreams. That's what I'm going to tell you at my conference, which is about to begin!

And see you on the 24th at Ste-Thérèse for a magical 5 to 7, you are all invited: we will do your makeup for the evening with our new enchanting range, we will take care of you with an express facial and on the boutique side, decor and pure wonders will await you. For appointments at the salon, we will welcome you as goddesses, starting the same day. 450-939-4420
