Inspiration for the garden and autonomy

Inspiration pour le jardin et l'autonomie

Do you know this book ? (in English unfortunately)

This book is a bible of homesteading in the woods, a fascinating read. Self-sufficiency, yes, but on woodland that you tame: living fences, thinning for market gardening, fruit and nut trees, trees to tap, how to attract birds by working the trees, coppicing (how to prune your trees so that they develop several small trunks of "heating" size rather than waiting for a tree to mature and then cutting it up - an old forgotten European technique but so logical), all the varieties of trees that are good for different things, from garden furniture to wicker baskets, charcoal for drawing... And coal.

In short, the sum of knowledge of an academic who works and knows his land, with the best possible mix of practice and theory.
