In the sense of respect for the environment, one more step towards zero waste.
I am very proud: you know my desire to be a company with a minimum footprint with these few facts & actions: we do not or hardly package the products, our cases & boxes to receive the makeup are refillable, your packages are posted in pretty recycled (even if it takes longer, my hope was that you feel this love and care when opening your package). We have a shredder for the boxes, the goal being to reuse (because recycling is unfortunately not always recycled), the shredded recycled cardboard boxes can be used as compost.
Then, I took steps, several months ago, to get rid of the labels (the mountains of wax paper that face them were hard to look at). So here are our first screen-printed bottles sent to you! Josée was very happy to share with me this moment finally arrived. To your question if we can proceed with the refilling of these bottles, we must unfortunately answer no: the danger of contamination is too great for our very precious formulas. But glass is recyclable and I am still waiting for answers so that we can reuse them in other ways (ceramic tiles for example, to be continued). I am doing everything I can and be sure that we are working very hard to achieve our goal. With a team of several employees and all these treatments, makeup & perfumes offered, I am proud not to have increased our quantity of waste, on the contrary. And the pang in my heart to see our old image slowly leave gives way to the desire to continue on this path, especially seeing the added chic & ecological value, see the photo taken at Marco's.
My ideal now is to go beyond my goal of zero waste: I envision an on-site laboratory in a building in the near future that will enrich and regenerate the environment. And I hope that businesses follow suit.
