Ingredients:
- · A mason jar or other glass container
- · Hot water
- · Clear glue or glitter glue with glitter. Avoid using white glue.
- · A good amount of shiny glitter
- · Food coloring (optional)
1. Pour hot water into the pot, up to about 2 cm from the rim.
2. Add one tablespoon of clear glue per cup of water. Be sure not to use too much glue to achieve a satisfactory result.
3. Add about 2 cm of glitter and food coloring. You can also leave out the food coloring and use glitter of all kinds of colors.
4. Close the jar. You can seal it with hot glue.
Note from a subscriber, Josette Couture: " I've tried several recipes and one that works particularly well is adding glycerin... it makes the glitter stay suspended longer. As for the quantity, it's hard to say since it depends on the size of the jar, but you can start by adding at least a large tablespoon, stir and add more until you like the consistency. "
This "pot of calm" can help young and old take the time to stop and realize, while stirring the pot, that it is necessary to wait a few minutes to calm down and find peace, after the storm...
