For me, December is the joy of preparing for Christmas and the New Year, with all the activities that this entails: preparing the house, the decorations, the menu, the gifts and the little personalized notes...

As much as I enjoy doing it, it also requires energy, so much so that I often arrived at Christmas so tired!

That was before, before I included moments and activities in my to-do list so as not to forget myself in the whirlwind of the holiday season.

So I take care of myself so as not to let myself get overwhelmed, and thus be able to fully enjoy the holidays with the energy necessary to appreciate each moment with the joy of a child.

My trick is to write down and block off a block of time in my calendar every day, just for me. If we don't take care of ourselves, who will? And taking care of ourselves means giving ourselves time so that we can then better take care of others.

So I offer you my "list" of gestures that allow me not to forget myself in all this whirlwind, and that I continue during the days of festivities of the holiday season, to better enjoy these moments with those who are dear to my heart.

To inspire you, here is what is on my “Getting ready to arrive at Christmas with a light heart and all in beauty” list:

  • In the morning, before my beauty routine, I cleanse my face with a little cleansing oil and chocolate mousse. The smell and feel on the skin are simply divine, leaving my skin glowing once rinsed off.
  • Taking the time to stop for three minutes, just to take deep breaths and stretch while spraying an MJ room fragrance. For the holiday season, the "Finding Yourself in a Christmas Tale" room fragrance is the ultimate, trust me!
  • Going to the infrared sauna energizes me and allows me to stop time to read a little, meditate, visualize the year ahead or simply lie down and relax.
  • Make masks. MJ has so many excellent ones with scents to transport us to well-being. My favorites are: the Cardamom Honey Mask, the Brightening Mask, and of course, the Exfopur.
  • Take a bath by adding MJ Women's Bath Powder, Relaxing Bath Salts, or Strawberry Bath Foam. Don't have these wonderful products? Use your MJ shower gel as a bath foam. For me, happiness is "Mandarin Orange."
  • Massage your neck and shoulders yourself with massage oils like Guggul or Chococo. Or if you have someone to share a massage with, it's even better!
  • In the evening, have a Jiaogulan tea, the tea called "immortali-tea", adding just a little organic jam "Chyavanaprash".
  • Do your three gratitudes of the day while sitting next to my essential oil or synergy diffuser. My favorite is "Good dreams."

Don't forget to incorporate certain gestures that speak to you, that make you feel good, and thus you will have a wonderful holiday season and start the new year with more energy.
