The importance of cleaning your brushes regularly

L'importance de nettoyer ses pinceaux régulièrement

Why clean them regularly?

Our brushes are in direct contact with the eyelids, mouth, face and over time, they fill up with makeup residue, sebum and bacteria, these often become responsible for small unwanted pimples that can suddenly appear on the face.

We don't always think about it, but it's absolutely essential to make it a good habit.

How often should you clean them?

If one day you put black on your brush and the next day you want to apply pink, definitely every day, otherwise once a week would be perfect.

Why not combine this little exercise with your mask party, during a break? Or simply on a day when you've chosen to go makeup-free.

Two more reasons to do it

When you clean these brushes regularly, it helps to prolong their life and also makes it easier to apply your makeup for a beautiful finish.

How to proceed?

  • You can spray the Brush Cleaner on synthetic fibers and gently rub the brush head on a dry cloth. Spread the brush on a dry towel on a flat surface...and so on for all other brushes.
  • You can also wash them with a mild soap like Mon détainant soap or the hand soap of your choice without harmful ingredients (Grapefruit, Fir , Lavender or Nature). Note that you should never dry a brush head up because this could cause water to penetrate the wooden handle and damage the brush. After washing, spread it on a dry towel on a flat surface. Brush trees are also sold on the market, which are very practical and allow you to dry brushes upside down.

Cleaning your brushes is definitely an important step in maintaining beautiful skin!
