Nathalie's tips, early 2022

Les trucs de Nathalie, début 2022

Our dear Nathalie answers questions by sharing her valuable tips and tricks with us!

For redness under the eyes:

- Remember to moisturize well and apply a serum;

- For dry skin conditions, choose, for example, Neroli Serum , which is very gentle on the fragile skin around the eyes (Neroli is soothing);

- For a more seborrheic skin condition, the Hemp and Chrysanthemum Serum is also excellent for fragile skin;

- The Soothing Gel and the Soothing Formula are also interesting for redness under the eye. Nathalie suggests putting a drop of the Soothing Formula in the Neutral Serum , in the Jojoba Oil or in the Kukui Oil and doing a very gentle and draining massage under the eye with this mixture, 2 times a day, to help the skin return to normal.

For redness on the décolleté:

- Nathalie suggests massaging the décolleté to relax and calm redness with Massage Oil - Macadam and Chamomile ;

- The Soothing Gel and Soothing Formula also help calm redness, remembering to seal with an oil afterward.

For wrinkles around the lips:

- Massage techniques for smoothing ( demonstrated in this video )

To know if we need to apply a serum in the evening:

Serum is necessary in the morning to allow the skin to regain its hydrolipidic film. However, some normal skin types with a tendency to seborrheic skin do not necessarily need serum in the evening. How do you know if your skin needs a serum to complete your evening beauty routine? Here's Nathalie's tip:

- After cleansing with Oil and applying Floral Water , wait 15 minutes without adding anything (do not go outside during this time);

- After 15 minutes, apply a tissue to your face and check it: if there is a little sebum on the tissue, this indicates that you do not need serum, that your skin is doing its job and secreting its sebum to recreate its lipid film. If, however, the tissue remains clean, this indicates that the skin tends to be alipic and needs a serum.

For persistent red patches under the nose and on the chin (irritated skin):

- Nathalie talks about the importance of breathing deeply and relaxing;

- The basic ritual, with Jojoba Oil and Floral Water, taking the time to massage well, is to be favored until the skin calms down and regains its comfort;

- The soothing and protective balm is also interesting, apply with a good massage while taking the time to relax!

For wrinkles on the neck:

Manual massage and Gua Sha are preferred for neck care. Massage helps the skin on the neck smooth and regain its suppleness.

Anti-aging facial treatments can also be applied to the neck. It's a good idea to apply the neck treatment at the same time as the facial treatment.

Here are the steps of a neck treatment suggested by Nathalie:

- First cleansing with Cleansing Oil or Jojoba Oil;

- Second cleaning by imbibition;

- Exfoliation (with good stimulation) with Exfopur in order to prepare the skin to better assimilate the nutrients that we will apply to it subsequently;

- Then, with a mixture of oil and muslin, massage the neck for 10 minutes with your hands to start, followed by the Gua Sha which will scrape away the tension. Finish with a gentler massage;

- Continue with a tightening mask:

* Chocolate mask or

* Exfopur mask mixed with a Muslin or with the Tensor Fluid . When applied only to the neck (not the face), add 2 drops of peppermint essential oil to this mixture. For a complete neck and face treatment, add only one drop of peppermint essential oil. Leave on for 20 minutes in a thick layer (you can add a cloth moistened with Floral Water) and rinse;

- Finish with a warm vanilla shea mask as a finishing treatment that you can remove dry afterwards.

Incredible "reshaping" effect!

For cracked hands and feet:

- On well-cleansed skin, apply a little Floral Water or Hyaluronic Acid followed by Bôbome or Caramel Fir Butter ;

- Massage well and add a little floral water if necessary to ensure that everything is absorbed;

- Then, apply warm (melted on a stove or in a bain-marie) the Vanilla Shea, Vegetable Paraffin or Floral Wax ( Rose or Mimosa ) as a mask that you keep for the night, like a blanket. This mask will cover the dryness and will allow, through the Bôbome or the Caramel Fir Butter, good nutrition and therefore good repair. And why not add a small cotton glove on top of everything for the night? Wow!

For oily skin, best daytime ritual:

- Cleanse the skin with the Cleansing Oil (the geranium it contains has a regulating connotation), rinse with a washcloth;

- Then spray the floral water, the one you prefer;

- For normal skin with a tendency to seborrheic skin, finish with the Sebum-regulating Gel followed by the Hemp and Chrysanthemum Serum or the Hemp and Vetiver Serum ;

- For oily, pimple-free skin, finish with the Tightening Fluid , an excellent morning formula! It tightens the follicular ostia, gives a beautiful effect, a beautiful complexion on seborrheic skin and is not too rich.

For ingrown hairs:

- In the palm of your hand, add one to three drops of the Exfopro formula in a neutral oil and massage this mixture onto the area of ingrown hairs;

- Dry brushing , exfoliation and Naturépile are also interesting.

For extremely dry hands:

- First of all, massage your hands well with your favorite Mousseline or Butter (Jacynthe loves the soothing and protective Balm for her hands);

- Then add a few drops of floral water or gel over this massage to ensure it penetrates well;

- Repeat these steps a second time and even a third time.

The skin will regain its suppleness and comfort!

For skin that feels "oily" at the end of the ritual:

- At the end of the ritual, spray a little Floral Water and continue massaging the skin to dilute and further assimilate the serum.

For hair, a few tips in passing:

- Nathalie suggests Fleuri shampoo to enhance blondes and whites (the Ylang-ylang it contains would be wonderful for this purpose);

- For oily scalp the day after washing, Nathalie suggests Doux bébé , without essential oil, without risk of stimulating anything;

- La Soyeuse hair oil mixed with Hair Balm to apply before shampooing. What a smell!

- Apply the conditioner starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots of the hair.

For the appearance of cellulite:

-Three wonderful formulas: the Spicy Choco and Coffee Fluid , the Draining Fluid and the Ayurvedic Serum , to work with the hands or with the Gua Sha. And cold baths!

For young adult red acne scars:

- We've had some great feedback on this with the Soothing Formula. Follow up with the Chocolate Mask !
