On the four Thursdays of August, Maison Jacynthe offered women of all ages the opportunity to have their face painted in-salon with their wide range of natural and vegan products, by the expert hands of one of their makeup artists. The event, completely free, took place all afternoon. All that was left was to make an appointment to reserve your spot! I went to the Lac-Beauport boutique to capture a few magical moments, as well as the portrait of the radiant customers!
I think it's wonderful that we, Quebec women, have been given a few afternoons to see our faces fully enhanced. It's something we all deserve, in my opinion; an opportunity to close our eyes, surrender to the expert hands of the makeup artist, and finally, open them and let the mirror reveal a new image. Sparkling eyelids, radiant complexion, and lips kissed a summer pink.
Our physical body is the most precious temple there is, a sacred place deserving of the greatest care. Maison Jacynthe offers such beautiful diversity in the ways we celebrate this unique temple by adorning it with color, shadow, and light. In this diversity, all we need, sometimes, is simply a few valuable tips. In this way, we learn more about our own face, and we remember the aesthetic subtleties that will reveal our natural beauty.

For me, my time alone with Guyanne, the makeup artist, was invaluable. My visits to the store are a joy! I always feel welcomed and guided by the profound kindness, gentleness, and expertise of the advisors. I tend to stay very minimalist in the way I do my makeup, but it was great to explore a completely different look. It was equally great to learn that, in reality, a minimum of products is enough to create a flattering effect and a more chic note. Three or four essentials, a few strokes of the brush applied with precision...in less than two, it's done!
