How to choose your foundation

So, when you buy a fluid or cream foundation, terracotta (you can't go wrong with the bella giornata) and a lipstick (which we eat, so favor good ingredients too!), delivery is free and I'll give you the pocket-sized beauty book, while if you come and pick them up at one of our jacynthe houses, we'll give you a gift certificate to have your makeup done whenever you like (for a wedding, a 5 to 7, at Christmas!!!).

To choose the right number of fluid or cream foundation: I am a number 2, just like Lara Fabian while Isabelle Boulay (porcelain complexion) is a 1, if you are tanned (like Jean-Philipoe Wauthier), take the 5, beautiful skin like Rebecca Makonnen, a 6; if you tan "red" the 4 (like Éric Lapointe): https://maisonjacynthe.ca/fr/blog/tout-pour-la-peau/

Here are the ingredients to avoid in our cosmetics, including makeup (taken from the book La Beauté):

- Phthalates
- Polyethylene glycol (PEG) and its derivatives, including propylene glycol (ingredients derived from PEG usually have the letters "eth" in their name)
- Methylisothiazolinone (MIT)
- Mineral oil and petrolatum (petroleum jelly)
- Toxic metals: aluminum, lead, mercury, arsenic and others
- Monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA) and combination products
- Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
- Formaldehyde (formalin, formalin, methylene glycol)
- Parabens (methyl para-hydroxybenzoate) and phenolic derivatives (most common: methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, isopropylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, benzylparaben, para-hydroxybenzoate or 4-hydroxybenzoate)
- Silicones (siloxane D4 and D5, dimethicone, cyclomethicone D4, D5 and D6)
- Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) or sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)
- Fragrances and perfumes
- Talc
