Turnip syrup soothes the throat and calms the expectorant effect of coughs.
Simply cut the turnip in half, make a well in it and leave some honey in it overnight.
Take the honey in the morning.
OR, nectar for sore throats:
Pour tea into a mason jar with lemon slices, honey, and grated ginger. Refrigerate (keeps for 2-3 months). A jelly will form.
Take a spoonful in hot water.
