Aliki, a find for food intolerances or allergies

Aliki, une trouvaille pour les intolérances ou allergies alimentaires

Do you have any food allergies or intolerances?

A find to help you ...

I love sharing tools to help you regain your vitality.

Recently, I discovered a mobile application that makes life easier and our time spent at the grocery store. It's called the ALIKI application . This application is aimed at people suffering from food allergies and intolerances and offers lots of information on different grocery products. How does it work? It's very simple. You just have to download the ALIKI application on your smartphone. It's free. Once this application is downloaded, when you are at the grocery store, you just have to scan the UPC barcode of a product and you will see on your screen the allergens present and absent in the food in question. Wonderful and easy to use. No more straining your eyes trying to decipher what is written on the label, no more searching on different websites to find out, this application does it for you. It allows you to search a database of over 130,000 products for the following allergens: gluten, nuts, lactose, eggs, seafood, peanuts, soy, mustard, sesame, and sulfites. A great tool, isn't it?

And that's not all! I know how difficult it can sometimes be for people with allergies to find businesses (restaurants, grocery stores) that offer safe products for you near where you are. This app allows you to search for these places where you can safely go to eat and find your groceries. WOW!

Another reason I like this app is that it is scalable and works on a contributory basis, meaning users contribute information and make additions that will benefit the allergy community.
I hope that this tool for mutual aid and sharing will simplify your life.

Please continue to share your experiences with the ever-growing jmagazine community. Thank you!
