Yesterday morning, I was preparing here with you our Milkshakes and bread and other protein breakfasts (always gluten-free & veggie) which make the difference to start the day well, for the whole family:
- Jonathan's Morning Milkshake: In a glass of milk, I mix 1/3 of a banana and 1 teaspoon of fermented brown rice protein .

My protein shake
Vanilla and/or chocolate plant proteins with 7 drops of Pumpkin Spice (essential oils) and Mushrooms and adaptogens .
The allegations:
- immunomodulatory properties
- tonic to help fatigue and/or during recovery.
- helps improve mental performance
- source of antioxidants
- helps maintain a healthy immune system.

Benefits of Fermented Brown Rice Protein
- Ease of digestion
- Contains 13 grams of protein per 15 grams of product, gluten-free and zero carbohydrates.
- Comparing two groups (1) one taking rice protein and the other whey, both gained strength, muscle mass and lost fat in the same way, despite consuming two different protein sources after training. Whey protein did not demonstrate superiority over rice protein on this occasion.
- It is filling and contains a significant amount of nutrients.
Increasing your protein intake can also be beneficial for weight loss.
Protein intake (still controversial) should be around 1.2g of dietary protein per kilogram of body weight per day (2), especially if you are over 60 or have been less active. The risks of consuming too much protein begin above 3.3g/kg.
