Authentic Japanese matcha directly from Japan's largest family-owned tea company. Made in batches of only 5 at a time so you get the freshest matcha possible. Using the first harvest, the tea master carefully selects the perfect leaves for this ceremonial grade of matcha. They grow, process, and package all teas locally, creating the lowest possible carbon footprint. Authentic ceremonial Japanese matcha used by the tea master in real tea ceremonies.

This is where you can see the preparation of ceremonial matcha.

1. Pour 1 teaspoon of matcha (about 2 g) into a bowl using a chashaku (bamboo spoon).
2. Add 75 ml of hot water (between 70 and 80°C).
3. Hold the chasen (bamboo whisk) with two fingers and mix the matcha by moving your forearm. Foam and bubbles will form.
4. Crush any bubbles on the surface by mixing more slowly.
5. Form a Z on the foam and lift your whisk in a vertical motion.
6. Take the time to enjoy your matcha in a cup or bowl specially designed for it.
