Vata Season: How to Strengthen Your Immune System

Tips to boost your immune system this Vata season!

From October to February is Vata season. This season is characterized by a lot of movement, colds, and changes. Therefore, we should favor daily routines and warm meals (made with seasonal ingredients such as root vegetables, squash, pumpkins, cooked apples, and grains). It is very important to always allow ourselves to rest after major exertion. These tips will give us energy until the end of the season and even prevent us from catching a cold!

Here are 3 simple routines to avoid the cold at the first symptoms;

1- Clean;
Gargle; Glass of water with 1/2 tbsp turmeric
"Netti pot" (saline water) for nasal passages

2-Booster
Chavanprash (jam of 40 herbs that support the immune system). Good for children too!
Amalaki (Ayurvedic Vitamin C)

3-Suder
Ginger tea with eucalyptus (leaves), honey and lemon
Put a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil (in a sesame oil base) under the feet

and of course, REST is essential!!
