Mature skin does not necessarily need ten products.
It needs the right actions, the right textures and carefully selected active ingredients – used consistently.
When skin becomes drier, less supple, or less radiant, our goal is simple: to cleanse without stripping, to provide water, lipids, and targeted active ingredients, and then to protect this new balance.
At Maison Jacynthe, two rituals allow this, depending on what you are looking for.
Ritual 1 - The essential classic routine
This is our simple, sensory, deeply nourishing ritual.
1. Cleanse without stripping - Cleansing oil
Mature skin generally produces less sebum. It therefore becomes particularly important not to aggressively remove the precious lipids present on its surface.
The Cleansing Oil removes impurities and makeup while maintaining that feeling of soft and comfortable skin after cleansing.
2. Provide water - Magnolia Water
After cleansing, Magnolia Water refreshes and prepares the skin for subsequent treatments.
This is our water step before lipids.
3. Add targeted active ingredients - Phytocomplex
Our Phytocomplex with apple stem cells then integrates into the ritual to support the needs of skin that particularly seeks radiance and vitality.
A few drops are enough before the serum.
4. Nourish and protect - Rose Serum or Jasmine Rose
This is where we provide mature skin with the precious plant lipids that it tends to gradually lose.
In summer: Rose Serum, for a lighter approach.
In winter: Jasmine Rose, when the skin demands more richness and comfort.
The ritual is thus adapted not only to one's age, but to one's skin, the season, and what it asks of us today.
Ritual 2 - Haute Botanique, at the heart of cells
For those looking for a more elaborate ritual and targeted care, we have created a second approach with our Haute Botanique range.
1. Origine - Cleansing cream
We always start with the same requirement: perfect cleansing without stripping.
Origine prepares the skin for subsequent treatments while maintaining its comfort.
2. Eau Sublime
Mature skin needs lipids, but also water.
Eau Sublime constitutes this essential aqueous step of the ritual and prepares the skin to receive the following treatments.
3. Gel Apaise
Gel Apaise provides an additional step of comfort and hydration, particularly valuable when skin becomes more sensitive or reactive with age.
4. Serum and/or Suspended Cream
We finish with the Serum, Suspended Cream or both, depending on the needs of the skin and the desired richness.
This is where the ritual truly becomes customizable: some skins will prefer a few very targeted steps, others will need a more generous envelope.
Which ritual to choose?
The first is wonderful if you are looking for simplicity, vegetable oils, and an essential routine: cleanse, provide water, target, then nourish.
Haute Botanique is more for those who want a more elaborate ritual, different textures, and more targeted active ingredients.
The best ritual is the one that suits your skin - and that you will want to repeat every day.
Caring for skin means giving it back what it gradually loses and highlighting all that it still possesses: its suppleness, its radiance, its comfort, and its beauty.
