"For a while now, I've been wanting to offer you a live broadcast about my complete transition to MJ products for curly hair. In fact, I threw away or gave away all my cosmetic products and now only use MJ products for face, body, and hair. I use just about all the products for my internal health too (proteins, supplements, etc.).

Why the interest in curly hair? Only curly-haired girls can understand the complexity of having beautiful curls and the need to use all kinds of products to achieve them!

To begin with, I can simply write to you that I never thought I would be able to stop using my salon styling product that followed me everywhere to have a beautiful head (a product that was not at all natural, that I wanted to eliminate for a long time and I tried several natural products). Here is my long and curly hair ritual:

Baby Soft Shampoo and Conditioner : What an amazing conditioner! It's made a huge difference in my hair routine. I actually have four shampoos and two conditioners. For a while, I've chosen to prioritize a safe bet for my hair type, namely Baby Soft, for these first two steps. However, I like to do my first shampoo with L'Exaltant.

Initially and for quite a while, I had what seemed to be dandruff, probably residue from my old products. In my first shampoo, I put a drop of Palmarosa essential oil and occasionally Oxypur as a pre-wash. Now, dandruff is a thing of the past.

Once my hair is washed, I put on my conditioner, then I brush my head upside down with a detangling brush and rinse, still upside down. I wring out my hair with my hands, brush it again and add in order a mixture of the Enhancer and the Aloe Gel (I saw a big difference by adding the Enhancer), then a mixture of Moringa Oil and the Hair Repair Balm . I then wrap my head in a microfiber hair towel and continue my shower (MJ shower gel of course).

Depending on hair type, I think some people could possibly stop here and have gorgeous hair by removing the towel or skip straight to the last steps. My hair gets crazy pretty easily, so I prefer to add some steps.

By removing the towel, depending on the time I have, I can let my hair dry a little (always in the open air, no dryer) and then style my curls according to their needs. As I often lack time, I immediately continue with another of my tips. I like to make a kind of styling cream with La Soyeuse , Hair Repair Balm , Aloe Gel and I have gotten into the habit of adding a little Hydra Teint .

It all seems like a lot, but I only use a tiny amount of each product. I finish it all off with either Bouclettes or Eau teint (or sometimes even both). I couldn't live without Eau teint, one of my favorites for both my face and hair (I have to say here that I have several favorites, you should see my shelves and my big storage cupboard). If necessary, I would say that it's great for humid days, I add a drop of Glycerin to my hair. It's just perfect.

I admit that's a lot of products, and not everyone can necessarily afford them. I think there's a way to do a similar routine by reducing the variety of products. Also, now that my hair is healthy, I'm thinking I could do some tests by removing certain steps.

So far, it's been a winning formula for me. It's hard to say what really made the difference for my unruly hair, but one thing is certain: I never thought I'd be able to stop using my salon-quality styling product, which I used to take everywhere with me to get a beautiful head of hair without too much frizz.

In my process, I made a transition by starting with shampoo and trying to reduce the use of my store-bought styling product. I then combined my natural curl cream that I had with MJ products to finally use only MJ products. I am satisfied and super happy with this complete change.

I also made this change with all of my skin, body, and face products. At the beginning of 2022, my hair was dry and really overdue for a cut. I was surprised myself, after some time of using 100% of MJ products, to realize that my hair had recovered and looked healthier… without the haircut that had previously become a necessity. Since then, I still haven't been to the hair salon and my hair is doing very well. Still impressive!

Oh yes! I also take the Hair Cocktail and Silica and many other supplements, I'm addicted on all levels! - Julie
