Ayurvedic massage oil for the head

HEAD MASSAGE OIL (RELAXATION/MEMORY)

1. Bala (Sida cordifolia)

As the name suggests, this oil strengthens tissues and has a cooling effect. It is useful for pacifying the Vata and Pitta doshas. It is therefore useful in cases of stress and tension. (Snigdha, Balya, Vatapittaghna)

2. Brahmi (Bacopa monneiri)

A well-known nootropic extract. It improves memory, relieves stress, and induces good sleep. It is also good for hair follicles. (Medhya, Rasayana, Ayushya)

3. Amalaki (Emblica officinalis)

This herb soothes all three doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. It is helpful in anxiety, burning sensation, and insomnia. It is the best among those that delay aging. (Tridoshaghna, Hima, Vayastha, Dahaghna, Rasayana)

4. Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

It has a cooling effect. Eliminates dryness. Pacifies the vata and pitta doshas - therefore, it is useful in cases of burning sensation, insomnia, stress, etc. Also helps in hair growth. (Hima, Ssusnigdha, Keshya, Pittanilasrajit)

5. Tagara (Valeriana wallichi)

Pacifies the 3 doshas. Useful in cases of insomnia. (Doshatrayapaha, Apasmara, Nashana)
