Which products to choose for your beauty ritual, by skin type.
Every skin needs to be cleansed, moisturized, nourished; the most fragile, dehydrated and dry skin needs protection.
-Oily skin (perfect today, need for seborrheic balance and to watch out for blackheads): cleanse with Cleansing Oil, moisturize with Floral Water + Aloe Gel, nourish with Hemp Serum.
-Sensitive-reactive skin (porcelain or irritated): cleansing with Jojoba, hydration with Chamomile Water, neutral serum nourishment (which gently nourishes, like a feather blanket), soothing balm protection.
-Thin, dry skin (we must nourish the epidermis to help the skin regain its protection, its suppleness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles): cleansing with Cleansing Oil then soaking, moisturizing with Floral Water followed by Gel and/or Hyaluronic Acid, nourishment: Jasmine Rose Serum, we protect with heated Vanilla Shea Butter or Wax in winter (Rose & Mimosa, anti-aging which softens)
-Mature skin (age is not a condition!): same as thin skin except that we will provide more anti-aging active ingredients with the Tensor or Oriental Fluids at the time of hydration and we can rely on nutraceutical serums with deeply regenerating retinoic acids (Rose Serum) or anti-aging par excellence with the Gold serums (radiance and tensor) or Myrrh Elixir (smoothing wrinkles and reducing spots).
The following priorities should always be addressed:
- sensitivity must be calmed, soothed (we do not "treat" irritated skin, we first relieve it and only once comfort is restored, we act and add anti-aging or restorative active ingredients)
- hydration (dehydration manifests itself by a feeling of tightness and by dry cells that detach, oily skin can also be dehydrated): at all times our skin must be hydrated, otherwise, it does not have the possibility of absorbing, excreting, exchanging - imagine a dry sponge vs. one full of water (whose movement is then possible), raisins (asphyxiated) vs. plump raisins (entire surface to receive) or dry earth to which we want to add nutrients, they cannot circulate; spots, dry patches, milia grains are signs as much of sensitivity as of dehydration, lack of movement, communication.
