Inula ( Inula graveolens )

Used since Antiquity, this essential oil, with its herbaceous and fresh scent, has properties: mucolytic, anticatarrhal, antispasmodic, antitussive, regulating heart rhythm, anti-inflammatory, calming.

In terms of well-being, it is said to act on agitation, nervousness, emotionality, insomnia, sleep disorders, irritability, mood swings, and overwork. 1,2

Among its isolated components is bornyl acetate, which causes alterations in the autonomic nervous system for the purpose of relaxation. 3

Inula essential oil can be used in many different ways, such as: cutaneous application, massage, oral administration, inhalation and diffusion.
