Home microdermabrasion to reduce wrinkles and chocolate mask to redensify the skin, spectacular effects.
Spectacular effect of our microdermabrasion followed by the chocolate mask to stimulate regeneration, more elastic and less wrinkled skin... and denser!
Principles of our microdermabrasion: how does it reduce wrinkles? Exfopur removes dead cells and acts in 3 forms of exfoliation:
- mechanical (superficial exfoliation),
- keratolitic (when left to dry, dead cells will stick to it),
- aromatherapy (cineoles which will work as a solvent, which will detach the ceramides).
When we refine the epidermis, there is a reactive protective effect: the dermis swells. We create internal hydration. By creating internal hydration, we will recreate the framework by asking the body to bring proteins that will recreate collagen. The dermis thickens and the epidermis becomes thinner. If the epidermis becomes thinner, wrinkles are less apparent, especially since they are swollen by the dermis, which is much more active and younger. We create a reaction by stimulating the dermis to recreate density. The dermis thickens, so the skin is more taut due to the collagen protein, and wrinkles are more erased.
Why would you want denser skin? Here's what Jean-Yves mentioned during this live broadcast:
The idea of ultraviolet and infrared (the sun) in general, when there is an action on the skin, between spring and autumn, we see that the skin becomes thicker. Why is it interesting to have a denser dermis, a slightly thicker skin, epidermis, a slightly more "toned" skin? It is less fragile.
For example: people who bruise, who cling and make wounds at nothing, this is a plus for them, because if the skin is denser, it is therefore more resistant to irritation. Let's admit that 12,000 years ago, before the arrival of agriculture, there was clothing, but the whole notion of modesty in civilizations did not yet exist; people lived outside because shelters were not necessarily solid; the iconography of the First Nations, certain villages in Africa where the family lives in a hut, it is a room, so they have the taste of being outside. So, living outside and rubbing against all sorts of things, they come to resist it; we are made for that. Can we do the same thing today? For thicker soles of the feet, running barefoot, walking barefoot ( grounding) , lead the feet to adapt. In addition, the environment full of negative ions gives reason to the pleasure of being in the woods, on the edge of the water. The famous negative ions nourish, the feet are sensors for the ground; to experience it, to forget science for 2 minutes and to go and put your feet in the grass, it feels good!
Why and how the chocolate mask, proposed by Nathalie, densifies our skin in a sensational way
The density effect is achieved by theobromine, caffeine; these components of chocolate fill the skin, it's magnificent, leading to the result we want to find: baby skin that doesn't move because it contains everything it needs, that is to say
- its protective cushion (the dermis and the hypodermis where fat is important),
- and a well-hydrated surface layer with very live cells
As we age, our cells become like raisins we don't like. What can recreate density?
- microdermabrasion* allows you to refine, therefore, to strengthen: it allows stimulation, cellular regeneration with cells which still have all their functions of receptivity, metabolism, so inevitably we end up with skin which is much newer, like that of a baby.
- Chocolate provides polyphenols, antioxidants, and caffeine that create a reaction. These active ingredients stimulate the skin to reproduce itself (like the retinoids in rosehip), thus redensifying the cell. Enzymes capture the polyphenols, tools for reproducing protein, good hydration, and metabolism. Chocolate has a densifying effect.
*For very wrinkled skin, it is worth doing the microdermabrasion technique with Exfopur once a week. This is also possible on thin skin, as long as it is able to accept it.
Did you know that cocoa polyphenols have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties?
Data presented in a study ( 1 ) clearly showed that cocoa components have important antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and photoprotective functions on the skin. The ability of cocoa phytochemicals to modulate critical biochemical functions through oral and topical formulations makes cocoa a promising candidate for other dermatological applications, ranging from cosmetic wellness to the prevention of carcinogenesis.
Another study reveals this ( 2 ): Topical application of cocoa polyphenols has been shown to positively affect several parameters of skin elasticity and tone, namely glycosaminoglycans and collagen I, III and IV. This was achieved using a model of ex vivo human skin explants maintained in survival, on which cocoa polyphenol extract was applied. The results obtained show that cocoa polyphenols exhibit a positive action on the parameters evaluated, and the dose at which they most improve the parameters associated with skin tone and elasticity was determined.
