Raw cane sugar (sucanat) or coconut sugar, maple syrup, honey
Bragg Sauce (replaces commercial soy sauce). There are also soy-free varieties on the market.
Having Tamari sauce also doesn't replace soy sauce, but it is often used in natural foods.
Blackstrap molasses, more nutritious and richer in iron (it replaces fancy molasses)
For seaweed and its richness, I use dulse seaweed flakes, which I love to sprinkle everywhere: salad, soups, etc.
Natural nut butters: almonds, hazelnuts etc.
Coconut oil and coconut butter (the two are used differently)
Cold-pressed oils, instead of commercial oils
Various varieties of whole grains and their flours and/or flakes:
Millet, buckwheat, quinoa, brown rice, etc. I use buckwheat and quinoa grains.
The same goes for the various varieties of legumes: brown lentils, adzuki beans, pinto,
Seeds and Nuts: Pumpkin, sunflower, chia, flax, and walnuts to taste (I didn't bring any nuts)
Replace commercial baking powder with alum-free baking powder because commercial baking powder contains aluminum ... we don't want it!
And for essences, such as vanilla and almonds, we prefer those that are natural, free from propylene glycol and artificial flavors.
