How the outlines we propose are on the mark!!
4 main traits distinguish happy centenarians who live well from Blue Zones 1 :
· They walk naturally, they garden, cook, are busy, are active.
· They have a network they can count on (Moaï), whether it be neighbors, friends, family.
· They have a reason for living (Ikigai or life plan: a reason to get up every morning and then feel their duty accomplished).
· They eat “plant based and whole food”, very little meat and fish, mostly dishes made from grains, legumes & vegetables (some with an impressive density of antioxidants), they manage to have, naturally, the fibers and amino acids they need. 2
As character traits, we appreciate their lessons: their positivity "don't get angry, be happy", their ability to adapt which has a direct biological influence as much as on their quality of life, because all these characteristics also summarize how to live well and enjoy life, our life, at its best.
Good sleep is also important.
Concretely, pollutants, antioxidant deficiencies and the excessive presence of Omega 6 harm well-being over time, whereas reducing animal proteins, adding real and effective fibers, antioxidants and good fats, make the difference, as does the presence of multivitamins, tea and vitamin D.
And here is what I propose, joining all of this
· Fiber in the morning (and in our salad, and before or during dinner).
· The plant-based protein shake to provide essential amino acids*, which make a difference to our digestion, energy and tone.
· The fountain of youth with good fats , Collagen* for joints (so we can keep moving) and Complete, approved as antioxidants.
· Salad which combines a wealth of polyphenols (powerful antioxidants 3 too)
· Multivitamins 4 , Omega 3 , Vitamin D as an essential base in supplements (to which I would add Magnesium and Electrolytes to ensure that we can relax as much as we need, as to hydrate well (the nerve of good assimilation) to start our machine when the morning arrives.
· And in the evening, eat Blue Zones, for this sweetness, this calming, this feeling also of care towards the planet and its inhabitants.
· Obviously by moving naturally, by investing as much in one's circle, by following our passion/our talent.
· With here and there infrared sauna to discharge heavy metals and choosing the tools to have a restful sleep.
What a fantastic lifestyle that aligns with longevity data!
*Marine collagen peptides are preferable to beef, pork, or chicken collagen because they have a high concentration of amino acids that stimulate collagen synthesis. One of the benefits of marine collagen is its "bioavailability." It has been shown to have higher bioavailability than other animal sources. Why is bioavailability important? Bioavailability is the rate at which food is absorbed into the bloodstream through our intestinal wall. This means that marine collagen peptides enter the bloodstream faster than other types of collagen, making it the best type when you want to replenish your body's natural collagen stores. 5

5.The science of nutricosmetics: 'Not all collagen ingredients are created equal' 19-Mar-2015 By Stephen Daniells. Collagen ingredients are driving much of the growth in the global nutricosmetics market, which is predicted to reach US$7.4bn by 2020, but how much science is there to substantiate the claims? https://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Article/2015/03/19/the-science-of-nutricosmetics-not-all-collagen-ingredients-are-created-equal
