Proteins perform tasks as varied as: making antibodies, hemoglobin in red blood cells, transporting molecules and even the structure (keratin) of hair!

They feed us, but they also digest food throughout the digestive tract. These proteins are called enzymes called proteases. The proteins to be digested are most often denatured by the acidic pH of the stomach, which promotes their digestion. 1

Our Plant Proteins

Natural Vanilla - Chocolate - Berries

Our 3 plant-based protein blends can be enjoyed at any time of day, including as a meal (by adding argan oil, for example) or immediately after exercise. You can incorporate them into your recipes to add to their nutritional value! Packaged in an environmentally friendly Omnidegradable® bag. Omnidegradable means the packaging will decompose in any environment it is placed in.

Here is what we find in the mixtures of:

And berries help with their assimilation.

You can incorporate them into your smoothies or recipes without any guilt!

Fermented Brown Rice Protein - Unflavored

Rice protein is a popular protein among vegetarians and vegans, or anyone looking to increase their protein intake without exceeding the recommended amount. Its creamy texture makes it easy to incorporate into smoothies, pancake mix, snacks, cookies, muffins, and even sauces, etc. Rice protein is a tasteless plant-based protein that can be easily added to all our recipes and dishes.

Its strong points:

  • Hypoallergenic
  • Good control of heavy metals and microorganisms
  • Easy to digest
  • All natural
  • Well-balanced amino acid profile
  • Gluten and lactose free

Its suggested applications:

  • Sports nutrition
  • Protein enrichment
  • Protein supplement for vegan or vegetarian

Jacynthe's gourmet & family protein drink:

In 3 cups of plant-based milk (for the homemade version, combine nut or seed butter with water and, if necessary, a sweetener such as maple syrup or dates), add:

  • 3 tablespoons of protein
  • A good fat like: nut butter, MCT oil, avocado
  • Vanilla essence (which I choose alcohol-free)
  • A pinch of iodized salt

"...For my kids, I like to include a banana (frozen to cool the drink); you can also add cocoa or carob for a chocolatey version. Adjust the water to your taste for a more or less consistent texture. This amount (for 2 or 3 people, depending on individual constitutions and needs) gives 51g of protein in total (39g of rice protein + 12g of nut butter protein); again, adjust according to taste and needs! Cheers!

Unflavored (so I invite you, if you take it as is in your vegetable milk, to add a little vanilla or cocoa and if necessary, a dash of maple syrup: YUM) therefore without added sugar, we can incorporate it into all our recipes and it offers 13 g of protein per 15 g portion, quite exceptional.

Proteins according to Dr. Mark Hyman

  • Under-eating protein can lead to anxiety, depression, fatigue, and food cravings.
  • If our cells want to communicate with each other, they need protein. All the thousands of molecules in your body are built from just 8-9 essential amino acids that we get from our diet.
  • When proteins are digested, they break down into these amino acids or what I call building blocks.
  • Our DNA groups them together to make proteins from these amino acids. When we don't have enough dietary protein, our DNA doesn't have enough amino acids to complete this process.
  • My favorite protein sources are grass-fed meat, pasture-raised eggs, and wild-caught fish. If you're a vegetarian, you can always opt for organic, non-GMO nuts, seeds, and legumes, and try to mix them into every meal (and always balance your plant-based protein with healthy fats).
