September 2019, I met a mother today at the park:
“A friend told me about your film Grandir Heureux; after watching it, we moved from St-Eustache so that our family could experience this school.”
"And then?"
“It changed our lives. Thank you.” ❤️❤️❤️
In the hope that this film, released in 2017 and still relevant today, continues to change lives. To share, I offer it to you with all my love.
The good news: This film is for all parents, grandparents, and children. The topic goes beyond alternative schools. In the process (I filmed, documented, and interviewed for 5 years), I realized that the heart of this wonderful project lies in this question: What does it take for a child to be happy? And lo and behold, the answer relieves us all of unnecessary pressure...

I really want to see it on TV so it can reach as many people as possible - Kathy
It 's crazy all that I've discovered since we arrived in Montreal thanks to you... your Montreal institute first... then a nature camp that my son just loved ("Mom, I want to go there for five weeks next summer" ? ) and now I come across this film at a time when I'm desperately looking for a school where my children (who, diagnosed as gifted children, don't fit into the boxes ? ...) would be happy! We'll see if it's a sign of destiny ? . In any case, I wanted to say bravo. You seem to be an incredible woman and mother, with a unique energy ? . I look forward to meeting you one day in the wonderful world of living and happy kindness ? . If I hadn't stopped working for a while to take care of my second child, who is two and a half years old, I would have applied to join your teams, that's for sure ?? . All the best to you. - Corinne
You are absolutely right, Mrs. Jacynthe truly has a unique energy, full of attention in every way, both for her family and her clients, and the success she achieves in what she undertakes is perfectly deserved. She is a woman with a big heart, and I had the chance to meet her at the fair this year and I loved my day. To do again next year. - Louise
We need it everywhere! It's urgent - Nathalie
Magnificent, moved to see this video! Bravo Jacynthe for this report. This is the school that I would like to see everywhere. The children are wonderful and seeing them grow up happy, comfortable in their own skin is so important! Live without comparison, grow at their own pace without judgment but hold them by the hand so that they go towards happiness and their dreams. As a Mom, I learned to listen to my son and I don't worry at home, during the holidays (no military schedule), we live and adapt according to our desires. The simplest moments such as going for a walk, playing with your dog, throwing pebbles in the water .... these are pleasant moments that do good. - Cindy
Our children are in an alternative school and we have no regrets about our choice. My children are thriving and we are learning a lot as parents too. One of the best life choices we have made, thanks to this magnificent documentary that I have watched at least 5 times! - Audree
