Sunscreens

Crèmes solaires

One of the advantages of shea butter is its sun protection factor (SPF 3). It is the unsaponifiables it contains (in the small granular particles of shea butter) that are responsible for protection against UV rays. Also, the carotenes contained in our Shea-Vanilla strengthen the skin against UV rays. Carotenes activate the action of melanocytes, which are responsible for our tanned complexion.
If you're planning a day of intense sun exposure, use sunscreens that contain zinc oxide. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), the ingredient that has demonstrated the highest level of safety is zinc oxide.

I also think that common sense remains the best alternative (hat, shade). Don't forget, however, that the sun stimulates serotonin. It has a positive effect on our mood. Also, it is a great source of vitamin D; it uses the cholesterol we have in our skin to synthesize vitamin D. So don't deprive yourself of it!
