Dark chocolate and heart benefits ❤️ antioxidants & fiber

Chocolat noir et bienfaits pour le cœur ❤️ antioxydants & fibres

For centuries, chocolate has been credited with health benefits. It increases energy, boosts libido, is effective against migraines, and is also effective against migraines.

According to a study conducted in Denmark , people who consume cocoa one to three times a month have a 10% lower risk of suffering from atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) than people who consume it less than once a month. It has been suggested that even a small amount of cocoa consumption can have a positive impact on health. Yes, chocolate would be good for the heart thanks to cocoa's high content of antioxidants that fight inflammation and flavonols that relax blood vessels.

This is what was reported by Scientific American :

"Based on their diet at the start of the study, people who ate one serving, or about 1 ounce (28.35 grams), of chocolate per week were 17% less likely to have atrial fibrillation by the end of the study than people who reported eating chocolate less than once a month.

Similarly, those who consumed 2 to 6 ounces per week (60 to 170 grams) had a 20% lower risk of developing atrial fibrillation, and those who consumed more than 30 grams of chocolate per day had a 16% lower risk of developing the disorder.

However, it should not be overdone, as Dr. Mostofsky points out, because although there is a substantial link between chocolate consumption and a reduced risk of AF, "It is not recommended to eat too much chocolate because many products containing it are high in calories from sugars and fats, and could lead to weight gain and other metabolic problems."

You have to pay close attention to labels, otherwise you risk buying chocolate containing significant amounts of sugar, says Dr. Mostofsky. "But moderate consumption of high-cocoa chocolate can be healthy."

A 28g (1-ounce) serving of dark chocolate, containing 70-85% cocoa solids, has 6.7 grams of sugar. Remember, the important thing is the total amount of carbohydrates minus fiber (i.e., net carbs). Fiber is essential not only for colon regulation, but also for overall health. Did you know that 3 squares (30g) of 70% cocoa dark chocolate provide 2-4g of fiber ?

One can also reap the best health benefits from chocolate by consuming raw cocoa butter (the fat in the cocoa bean) or raw cocoa beans are also excellent options.

A sweet and decadent treat for the heart ❤️ with antioxidants & fiber in just one ounce of chocolate! There's something for every chocolate lover!
