Here's a suggestion...
If you have dark circles under your eyes, it may be a good idea to consider strengthening and draining your kidneys.
If it concerns the inner corner of the eyes, it corresponds to the liver.
In both cases, using dandelion and nettle root infusions will be beneficial. I like these herbs and use them myself occasionally or as a course of treatment for several days.
Following this proposal, Karine asks Véronique the question:
"I would like to know if herbs have worked for dark circles and how you use them?" and testifies Véronique:
"Hello Karine, yes!!!!!! I really saw a nice difference in my dark circles, of course I still have some, I was born with dark circles, I must say. But for the first time in my life, despite sleep and eye contour products of all kinds and all prices, I had never seen any improvement. Ten days of concoctions of nettle and dandelion herbs once a day every day, and here is the nice improvement :) I will continue to drink these herbs 3-4 times a week. Nettle and dandelion herbs that I mixed together: I take 1 and a half tablespoons and let it sit for 15 minutes. There you go! I also apply Jacynthe's serum to which I add a drop of soothing formula around the eyes, that must help me too. And no, finally it doesn't make my skin blue.....phew :)
I hope this helps you too."
Here's what Danielle suggests
Dark circles are generally linked to food intolerances, such as sugar, gluten, soy, dairy products or other hyperallergenic foods (pork, chocolate, pesticides, herbicides) or liver toxicity. Here are some tips to help reduce them:
- start each day with the juice of half a lemon in water,
- eliminate environmental toxins,
- eliminate artificial foods and increase consumption of bitter and red/orange vegetables
- favor rose water
- and as a homemade mask: make a paste of turmeric mixed with pineapple juice, leave for 10 minutes and rinse!
- Cucumber on the eyes, an effective classic: its silica helps repair our skin tissues
Here is some additional information to support our system and shine!
- To help with the BRUISES (when you get hit): favor foods containing vitamin C (citrus fruits, goji berries, cranberries, fresh vegetables)
- To stimulate CIRCULATION: promote spices like cayenne, ginger, sage, thyme, cinnamon and garlic, cardiovascular exercise, deep breathing and antioxidants
- To support the functions of the LIVER: garnish your dishes with dandelion, milk thistle, parsley, dong quai, caraway, beetroot, kale, watercress, arugula and make red JUICES (beetroot, carrot, dandelion, black radish)
- To help our KIDNEYS: drink 3 L of filtered water per day, reduce foods high in oxalates (strawberries, nuts, wheat bran, green beans, chocolate, tea, rhubarb, legumes and spinach), or eat them with sunflower seeds to neutralize their negative effects. Favor herbs: damiana, marshmallow, plantain, raspberry.
- To help with overall skin radiance: drink chlorophyll (to cleanse the blood), ingest essential fatty acids (in the forms of hemp, chia, sacha inchi, pumpkin, flax, cold-water fish), and drink the herbs calendula, lavender, red clover, oats, rose, thyme, chamomile, and echinacea. Exfoliate regularly and moisturize your skin with oils.
