"Hello, first I would like to congratulate you on your business model and thank you, as a customer, for the quality of the products you offer! Also, in 2019, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I underwent chemo treatments. At the time, I unfortunately did not know your products. I am now in remission and I often think of those who are undergoing treatment. To this end, have you ever considered offering a protocol for people undergoing chemo? Treatment for ultra-dry skin, hair care, nails, etc.
I think it would be a service to them! I would have loved it. Also, what a great way to support a loved one by giving them a "chemo" care kit. Once again, I would have loved it! So there you have it, the idea is launched ? » Geneviève Hamelin

This "caring" approach focuses on quality of life and on calming the visible effects of cancer treatments, and is therefore very welcome.

Here is Health Canada's opinion on the term "hypoallergenic":
What are the side effects of commonly seen skin treatments?
Among these, we can find:
- Ultra dry skin
- Itching
- Tingling
- Redness
- Irritation
- Swelling
- Eruptions
- Hair loss and body hair
- Yellowing or blackening, weakening, ridges and separation of the nail bed.
Increased skin dryness is observed on both the face and body, caused by chemotherapy. This results in an alteration of the skin barrier (xerosis), a sign that the water content of the epidermis becomes lower than normal, causing a loss of suppleness and dehydration, thus causing intense dryness and itching.
Frequently observed in cases of chemotherapy, a rash of pimples appears after 2 weeks of treatment, as it is closely linked to an alteration of the epidermal barrier. We notice acne-like lesions that can develop on the face, neck, shoulders, torso and upper back.
Nails are often damaged following treatments; they can become dry, brittle, discolored and have ridges or dark spots.

“ A little testimony after 3 months of chemotherapy. I must say that Maison Jacynthe products help me greatly and accompany me in my daily life. The collagen, my beauty ritual and the warm vanilla shea mask help me keep my skin supple, nourished and hydrated. My nails have remained strong. For the body, I use products with calendula (baby oil and muslin) which are very gentle and caring, as well as the passion fruit oil which relieves pain. For dry lips, I adopted the Coconut balm which nourishes enormously. My nose bled easily and Nasya solved the problem. I love this ritual so much that I will continue it, it is part of my routine. The scar balm is one of my favorites since it allowed me to detach the adhesions due to the operation following breast cancer. So I gave it my all when the doctor asked me to massage my scars. Plus, this product smells divine. My favorite room sprays at the moment are the Purifier and Christmas Tree. And for the evening, a diffusion with the Joy synergy does me the world of good. When I have my infusion, I put a drop of peppermint in my mask and the relaxing and escapist effect is there. It's a real gift that saves me a lot of anxiety. Of course, the medical team is fantastic, but Maison Jacynthe brings so much kindness. I don't know what this journey would be like without all of that. " - Stéphanie C.
