Lifting, anti-aging and radiance-boosting eye contour treatment

Soin contour des yeux liftant, antiâge et coup d’éclat

Many of us have asked for it, and now Nathalie offers us this wonderful eye contour treatment, worthy of a luxury treatment in a salon. The alternation between hot and cold, acting like gymnastics, will please both mature skin with its anti-aging effect and younger skin, which will love its radiance boost. A healthy glow treatment for all eyes!

The products and materials you will need:

You'll also need a bowl of hot water, a stove or hot plate, small round washcloths (e.g., a cotton towel cut into rounds), and a few small bowls to mix and warm your products. You might also enjoy using a cheesecloth and brush for the hot mask step.

First of all , Nathalie suggests preparing everything in advance to minimize the waiting time between each step and to avoid mistakes: put the products in chronological order in front of you, heat the floral water or floral water compresses, melt the hot mask and prepare the mixture for the cold mask. This way, everything will be more fluid and we won't need to think about anything other than our treatment. And why not put on some music and a soft light; let go and relax!

Here is the recipe for the cold mask, to prepare before starting the treatment:

  • In a small bowl, put a small amount of Exfopur and its equivalent in Mousseline (or Chocolate Mousse), which you mix together using a wooden stick before adding a pipette of serum.
  • Add floral water to this mixture to achieve a nice texture, that of a soft, creamy butter, but not liquid. The mixture should not run when applied to the skin.
  • Add a single drop of the essential oil chosen from those offered for this treatment.
  • Mix well.

To your masks! Here are the steps:

Cleanse : Nathalie, our magician, suggests creating our own "micellar water." To do this, moisten a washcloth with a little floral water and add a few drops of Cleansing Oil (or Jojoba Oil). Clean the eye area thoroughly with this washcloth. This method is very gentle on the eye area. Then, apply floral water to a second clean washcloth to thoroughly rinse the eye area. Finish this step by wiping the area around the eye, if necessary, with a tissue or soft cloth.

Exfoliate : Apply a thin layer of Exfopur all around the eye: under the eye, in the dark circles and the brow bone, going down a little (without putting any on the mobile eyelid) and in the corner of the eye (on the nose side). While the Exfopur dries on the eye contour, add more Exfopur to the area between the eyebrows, massaging and stimulating. If you want to massage the area between the eyebrows for longer, apply 1 to 2 drops of Cleansing Oil so that the scrub dries more slowly. When the Exfopur is ready on the eye contour, "pluck" it very gently, holding the skin so as not to pull on it. Finish this step by thoroughly cleansing the eye contour with the cleansing oil to ensure that there are no more Exfopur granules. You can also reuse the washcloth with micellar water at this point. It is possible to repeat the exfoliation step a second time.

Soak : It's time for a warm bath! Wet two round washcloths with floral water, preheated in a small container on the hot plate or in the warmer. Nathalie suggests warming about 20 ml of floral water for this treatment. For those who wish to use a little less floral water, it is possible to soak two small round washcloths by spraying them with floral water and warming them directly in the container on the hot plate. Check the temperature to make sure it is not too hot. Leave these washcloths on your eyes for a few seconds to a minute, while they are still warm.

Moisturize : now is the time to moisturize with the Anti-aging Phytocomplex (or another moisturizer) by putting a drop on each outer corner of the eye then massaging from the outside to the inside under the eye, then going up towards the brow bone and finishing towards the interbrow. Then, make small tapping movements to stimulate the absorption of our hyaluronic acid and already begin the stimulation of the microcirculation which is the seat of nutrition.

Massage : this is the step of the anti-aging massage of the eye contour using the serum (or the tensor fluid or the contour cocktail) . You will find the demonstration of this massage at minute 36:20 of the video and the massage techniques illustrated on pages 27, 28 and 29 of our Beauty Guide.

The steps:

  • Lightly stroking the eye contour (with your fingertips, like a caress);
  • Stimulation of the anti-wrinkle effect by making an “8” with the middle and index fingers on the seduction wrinkles, by light friction, around twenty times;
  • Effleurage;
  • Pointed, all around the eye: a digito which energizes, replaces;
  • Jacquet pinches, gently, at the level of the eyebrows (pinch without mobilizing the muscles, without moving them);
  • Final effleurage, in order to replace the liquids;
  • Palpate/Roll on the interbrow area.

Seal : Start with a hot mask followed by a cold mask

Warm mask : after ensuring that the temperature is right, apply the warm Vanilla Karate Butter (or the warm Caramel Fir Butter) directly to the skin or to a cheesecloth previously placed on the eye and covered with a thick layer of melted butter using a makeup brush. We should feel a nice warmth. Let the eyes enjoy this warmth for about 10 minutes or until you no longer feel the heat. It is also possible to choose the Chocolate Mask as a warm mask (which is rinsed well with water).

At this stage, the important thing is the warm effect!

Cold mask : immediately after the hot mask, it's time for the cold mask with Exfopur that we prepared in advance. Apply a thick layer to the eye contour, and why not also to the area between the eyebrows! You can cover your eyes with the washcloths that you soaked in lotion at the beginning of the treatment. Relax. You will feel a sense of freshness. Let it sit for 7 to 10 minutes. When you feel that the thermal effect is less, it's time to rinse with very warm water. Gently wipe the eye contour. Then spray the floral water to awaken your eyes. If it's evening and you don't want to be surprised by the cold, apply the hot floral water by ablution.

Finish : apply a drop of the anti-aging Phytocomplex (or other moisturizer) to the eye contour area followed by 2 drops of serum (Gold if you have it!) or the Contour Cocktail, best used in the morning to wake up thanks to the freshness of the metal ball.

It is important to note that if you do this treatment in winter before going outside, you will need to protect your skin well from the cold, for example, with Floral Wax or Winter Phytobaume , because the skin around the eyes is very receptive at this time.

This treatment is also sublime for the lip contour and on the neck. Don't hesitate to try it!

Good care!
