Persistent pimples… what if the cause was something else!
Taking gentle, non-aggressive care of your skin in a 100% natural way is a way to fight spots and keep your skin glowing.
However, we sometimes forget that certain everyday actions can harm all the good efforts made to maintain or regain the well-being of our skin and avoid spots.
Some ideas to remember:
Remove makeup before going to sleep
Not easy, because when you come home very late after a great evening, all you want to do is jump into bed, and Hop! find yourself in the arms of Morpheus as quickly as possible!
We so want to skip the makeup removal step, but is it a good idea? If we don't want to damage our skin and prevent the appearance of pimples, it is essential to remove makeup from our face, because the skin of the face also needs rest during the night, if it is clogged, the pores will become blocked and it will not be able to breathe properly.
Makeup side
Without hesitation, change your traditional makeup to adopt makeup with non-toxic ingredients, with unique and highly beneficial plant active ingredients, designed to be worn all day and nourish the skin without clogging it, like that offered at MJ, makeup without compromising on hold, textures and pigmentation.
Change your pillowcase more often
Bacteria, dust, oil—all of this settles on the pillowcase, then on our face, potentially clogging our pores. Not to mention the fact that we're in contact with it for several hours every night.
To keep your skin glowing and avoid spots, you can change your pillowcase very often, like every 2-3 days.
If your skin is sensitive and more prone to breakouts, it may be a good idea to use a fragrance-free laundry soap and fabric softener.
Avoid touching your face
Often when you have a pimple, the reflex is to want to pick at it and/or otherwise having the habit of touching your face are ways that can cause bacteria to proliferate in the face and thus cause pimples.
Clean everything that touches the face regularly
Anything that can become a breeding ground for germs, for example: brushes , telephone, mask.
Reduce stress
It can often cause pimple breakouts; this is what a study (1) reveals to us, which aimed to determine the relationship between stress and acne severity, was carried out on 144 female students, aged between 22 and 24, attending a medical school in Saudi Arabia, regarding the association between stress and acne. The assessment was done using a questionnaire on the severity of acne in relation to stress using the perceived stress scale. The results indicated an increase in the severity of stress strongly correlated with an increase in the severity of acne, which was statistically significant. Based on this study, it was concluded that stress is positively correlated with the severity of acne.
These few tips for taking care of your skin with patience and gentleness will certainly give beautiful results.
