Step 1

This is heaven, a little crunchy side, the seaweed, the noodles, it's very seductive. Offer health!

When you eat like this, you no longer have the taste for junk food, no longer the call of a little sugar, you are so full; even a sugar bug loses the taste for sweets. It's not for weight control, it's for health and energy. We feel so good eating to energize ourselves. That's the key, the vibrant side!

**Foods kids love. Kung Fu Panda noodles! Coming up with funny names with kids helps them discover new foods. For example, Jacynthe renamed her green smoothie a Hulk smoothie—it works with little boys!

***As soon as the water stops boiling, it's perfect to add the seaweed. You can boil the water (boiling point = 100°), then remove from heat and wait 5 minutes.

Jacynthe's note: When I prepare my quinoa, cooking for 15 minutes, I add the seaweed right away so that the minerals from the seaweed transfer to the quinoa, and it's so much tastier!

MEVE morning ritual:

As a substitute for coffee, add 1 heaped tbsp of miso to a little hot water (never boiling, otherwise you will kill the enzymes in the living miso) and mix.

Some suggestions for miso:

You can add algae, shoots, sprouts (MEVE morning soup).

Replaces mayonnaise in sandwiches.

Replaces salt in recipes. Always add at the end of cooking (to keep the product alive).

Perfect morning: a bowl of rice, seaweed, hemp oil on top with a bowl of miso. That's Japan!

Tasty, balancing, soothing.

Importance of seasonings:

Seasonings are so important. It's so colorful, vibrant, nutritious, and flavorful!

A few more suggestions:

Parmesan with nutritional yeast

Gomashio**** with dried seaweed

Small mix of nuts

****Gomashio: condiment made from crumbled dried seaweed (as a substitute for salt) and sesame.

I always have some seasonings ready in the fridge that I keep and I add them to my quinoa, to my vegetables.
