Coconut oil is a saturated oil, but the fatty acids in it are short and medium chain, which helps lower cholesterol, blood pressure, and even aids in the digestion of fat.

There are saturated fats that have long chains in dominance, known for their negative effects on our health.

Medium-chain fatty acids also have antimicrobial and antibacterial properties.

It is a perfect oil for very high temperatures, such as baking, frying etc., because it is saturated and therefore more stable.

Additionally, it supports the health of the immune and digestive systems as well as skin health when used as a moisturizing oil and makes the skin smooth and radiant!
