Pour one teaspoon of matcha (about 2 g) into a bowl using a chashaku (bamboo spoon).
Add 75 ml of hot water (between 70 and 80° C).
Hold the chasen (bamboo whisk) with two fingers and whisk the matcha by moving your forearm. Foam and bubbles will form.
Crush the bubbles on the surface by whisking more slowly.
Form a "Z" shape on the foam and lift your whisk vertically.
Take the time to savour your matcha in a cup or bowl specially designed for it.
