Juniper berry

Essential oil - Genévrier

Size: 5 ml

Certified pure

Origin: France

The active components of this oil come from the distilled berries of this shrub. These small berries with their unique peppery flavor are popular in cooking, for example, they are found in the famous sauerkraut, and are also used to flavor certain alcohols. But more than that, its wellness benefits have been known since ancient Egypt to soothe pain.1

Juniper essential oil has also been evaluated by some authors for its antimicrobial activity against sixteen bacterial species, seven yeast-like fungi, three yeasts and four strains of dermatophytes. Result: juniper essential oil has demonstrated bactericidal and fungicidal activities.2

This berry is very small but still has a great reputation today.
