- "Any natural product is alive, endowed with a revitalizing energy capable of restoring harmony by stimulating vital processes" (Dr. Jean-Pierre Willem). It is said in this regard that Essential Oils are "eubiotic", they promote the return to balance and life.
- Essential oils are powerful plant concentrates: we can distill up to 300 kg of certain plants to obtain 1 liter of essential oil.
- Among other things, given this quantity of active principles, they do not generate addiction.
- The essential oils chosen for our oral formulas are used like spices, at a rate of one drop at a time because, once again, they are highly concentrated, and always on a support; some will risk the pure drop on the tongue, respecting their own sensitivity.
As with everything, if you are pregnant or nursing, do not use essential oils orally. Not suitable for babies. If you have any special conditions, it is important to confirm with your doctor or health care professional if the use of aromatherapy is indicated for your health condition.
Ayurvedic Morning Routine
Before mouth rinsing, gently scrape the tongue once using a tongue cleaner to eliminate bacteria, including those causing bad breath and dental cavities. Rinse the tongue cleaner well and ensure it is dry before the next use.
Next, proceed with oil pulling mouth rinse.
To begin, take a spoonful of sesame oil in the mouth and add a few drops of Fresh Breath oil for its purported benefits (according to studies): the antiseptic properties of Clove and Lemon, antibacterial effects of Ginger and Noble Laurel, the anti-infective action of Cardamom, and the refreshing Mint's analgesic, anesthetic, and disinfectant properties.
After swirling the oil in the mouth and passing it between the teeth for 20 minutes, spit out the oil into a trash bin instead of the sink, as the oil can clog the pipes when it solidifies.
Oil pulling is an ancient protocol in Ayurvedic medicine to promote oral health, still highly valued by its followers in our time.
